Geena blinked in surprise. "Well then. That sounds lovely. Can I join you?"

Smiling she replied, "Of course!"
"Oh yeah. Just giving my wings a strech." Geena said. "The get stiff for whatever reason. Like old ladies. "
"Great." Geena half smiled. "Dont have my crossbow with me though. .. by the way, are you New to the Camp?"
Night's near, we should start moving before it gets too dark to see them Fern thought. "Well, after you." She teasingly curtsied and gestured towards the path where it seemed to have been destroyed by someone— or something.
Fern reached towards her back and pulled out pair of crossbow.
She placed it on Geena's hands and said, "Fairly new, I came here barely a year ago with my older brother, Alex."
Geena nodded and flew above the tramped trees and bushes. What would she do without her crossbow? All she had was her knife. "What do ya think we're tracking, stranger?"
Fern climbed a tree and began jumping off one tree to another, "I'm not sure, but it sure looks big by the destruction it's caused here."
"Really?" She said. "You liking it so far? Is it all you ever hoped it would be and more?" Geena said wistfully, dodging a bent tree. "its not add good as the Huntresses, but the camp is still pretty cool."
"Im thinking a boar. Or any other large monastery type thing. "
"All in honesty, yes it's so much more than I've been expecting. I was so ecstatic when I found out about that Zues and all the other gods were real." Thunder boomed at the mention of the name of the King of Olympus, in which Fern ignored. She had gotten used to that, since she was never intimidated enough not to use their names.
Fern nodded excitedly, "You're right. Though, if it was a hell hound, what would you do? Run?"
"Hmm. Glad you like it. Hellhound..." Geena pondered that. "Well, when it comes to Hellhounds you either fight like hell or run like hell. Ah ha, get it?"
She chuckled and nodded. What if it was a hell hound? Or worse? She shook her head, I could just use my bow and arrow and wound it at least. "So stranger, what's your name? Forgive me, I'd forgotten to ask."
"Geez that always happens to me. I have 20 minute long conversations and end up not knowing the person's name. Its Geena. Geena with a G." She paused the music she was listening to. "Whats yours?"
Smirking she said, "My name's Fern, short for Fernanda." She paused, hesitating a bit before asking, "So are you a nymph or spirit? Sorry if I seem rude."
Geena paused. "That's a new one!" She grinned. "Nah. Why'd you ask? Its cause of the wings, right? These were just a quote on quote 'gift' from my godly father. Anteros, Cupid's brother."
Fern's eyes widened in shock, "Jeez," she laughed and stopped to lean on the tree she was on, "You do realize what this means right? You being Antero's daughter?" Her eyes shined with amusement. She brushed a loose ringlet lock that had escaped from her French braid from her face and tucked it behind her ear.
*Anteros'
"I have a feeling this will be bad, but I'll take the bait. What does it mean?"
Fern through her head back and laughed before looking at Genna in the eyes. Amusement filled her completely, "For you? Maybe. For me? Hilarious!"
"If your godly father's Anteros, brother of Eros, son of Aphrodite. You're my niece since my mom's Aphrodite like Eros aka Cupid and your dad, Anteros!"
Geena paused in midair. "Wha-" She looked at her. "What?!?" How long had she been in the Camp and she hadnt made that connection?!? "My mind just imploded. So Im relayed to all those Aphrodite kids. Lovely. No offense." She said to Fern.
She snorted and shook her head, "None taken, even I have to admit some of my half siblings are conceited and too girly to bear with." She paused and frowning, she mumbled bitterly, "Especially if you live in the same cabin as them, now that's torture."
"You have siblings? Demigod siblings?" Geena raised her eyebrows. "Aphrodite must've really liked your dad." She teased her.
Fern snorted, her imagination running a bit wild, "I have 2 full siblings actually, 3 originally. But my middle brother, he died about a year ago."
"Shit. Im so sorry." Geena patted her shoulder, still flying.
She shrugged, "No worries. I've finished grieving and moved on, along with Alex." Fern began jumping forward tree by tree,
CRACK!
Geena looked up. "Whas that you?" She mouthed.
She shook her head, her eyes narrowing as they zeroed in on the direction where it came from.
Geena flew above her şilently
Suddenly, a large shadow lunged at Fern and made her lose her balance. She started falling.
Geena swooped, grazing the forest floor before catching Fern. "You ok?" She said, looking at the sky.
Fern let out a small 'Oof!' And nodded. "Yeah, thanks for catching me." She lolled down at the ground too, searching for whatever had caused her to fall.
John ran onto the paths, not knowing where to go, he just wanted to get away from that creature.
He stopped running and looked behind him and drew his sword.
Geena leaned down to Fern. "Where'd it go?" She felt anxious. This monster could fly. She took a breath and looked around.
"Looks like we're not the only ones here..." Muttered Sam
"I don't know, I think it went that way." She whispered back, pointing down north. She was now perched on a tree, searching for the thing that had are her fall.
Geena raced down the path, her wings beating like a hummingbirds. Ugh. Where was her damn crossbow when she needed it?!?
Fern jumped down stealthily and landed quietly, "Do you think it's gone?"
He looked at Sam, "Want to go?" he said with a glare at the new comers.
"Yeah... Let's lead the monster off this trail"
She caught sight of the new comers and walked away. She didn't want to put them in danger in case it was still here.
((If we're gonna have a foursome we need order))In midair, Geena looked at the new people. "What are you doing here?" She cocked her head.
"Ok," he said and waited to follow Sam.
