This is just soliciting ideas on books to read and discuss next year. As well as any sort of changes to the show you might like to hear.

Mel Maybe including a graphic novel in the upcoming year's lineup? I've been wanting to encounter more good graphic novels.

This isn't the final list. There's a lot more than twelve books here. And as we may even end up reading stuff that isn't on the list.
Availability is still a big deal so some of these books might be out of the question by virtue of not being able to find them. But these are just some of the titles we're thinking about.
The Summer Princeby Alaya Dawn Johnson
The Broken Kingdomsby N.K. Jemisin
The Best of All Possible WorldsBy Karen Lord
Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers
Beasts of Burden: Animal RitesBy evan dorkin
Vegan Soul Kitchen: Fresh, Healthy, and Creative African-American CuisineBryant Terry
Icon, Vol. 1: A Hero's Welcome By Dwayne McDuffie
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, Vol.1by Brian Michael Bendis
Salsa Nocturna By DJ Older

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making By Cartherynne M. Valente

Mel I'm particularly interested in *Vegan Soul Kitchen* and the selections by Tananarive Due, Nnedi Okorafor, and Nalo Hopkinson. I've been meaning to read *Among Others.* *Beasts of Burden* and *Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers* look cute.
