Really good! It doesn't compare to some of my truly favorite books, but its still worth the time to read!!!

I read the entire thing in a couple of days.
It's actually a really fun series to listen to if you get the audiobooks.

It was a very typical young adult dystopian novel (all just my opinion)

Im not being rude or anything but since you didn't like it, I would be interested in what books you do like. Can you recommend one to me? What's your favorite book in that genre?

My favourite dystopian young adult novel? I really enjoyed Divergent and Insurgent (Allegiant not so much haha but the overall series was pretty good) and the Hunger Games (go figure). The Gone series by Michael Grant is pretty good if you've never heard about it. Kinda weird, but once you get attached to the characters it's hard not to like the books :p. Can't really think of any others, I've kinda given up on dystopian novels because they seem to be everywhere and they're basically all the same, you know?

I have to agree with you on Allegiant what a disappointing book that was.

THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT
I loved Allegiant until I was about 2/3 into it. I don't know if it was just me, but I felt like Tobias was out of character and he really didn't seem like the fearless dauntless I've come to know in the past books. And his POV was all too similar to Tris; I kept on getting confused.
The ending really disappointed me for a few reasons.
1.) I stick by my opinion that Tris shouldn't have died, and I'm not just saying that because she's the main character or anything. I honestly didn't feel like it served her justice at all.
2.) I hated how things ended with Evelyn. I couldn't (and still can't) believe that a woman who had left her own son on his own for so many years would suddenly decide to act motherly in the middle of a war. Just seemed so... I don't know the right word for it; forced? unfitting? unbecoming? Something along those lines.
3.) I really hated the epilogue. Just everything about it just seemed forced. And once again I felt like Tobias was out of character again.

Totally agree with everything you said. I would actually start to dread Tobias' chapters because he was so out of character, so moody and so irritating.
It just upset me so much. I consider Divergent to be one of my favorite books ever and I liked Insurgent too. So I was really looking forward to Allegiant and how Roth would wrap it up, but it left me so disheartened.

I didn't feel their romance forced at all and I came to love the characters, especially Day,June,Metias,Eden and Tess
I actually really liked the dual POV and thought they sounded very different, just for the fact that Day ands June look at the world so differently. She is much more precise and detailed and he is much more casual.
I actually have the audiobooks as well and they are fantastic and a ton of fun to listen to.
You definately get the distinctness in both characters.
I honestly could not put this book down and at least

Totally agree Christina he was out of character. His fears controlled him throughout the whole book.I didn't believe for a second he would just run off with Nita a girl he didn't know at all and do such a bone headed thing.

I thought it was really good. Why didn't you like it?"
That's Exaclty what I thought,but I would have yelled

ummm No means to be rude, but..... Why on earth are you talking about that trilogy?

I thought the voices were very easy to tell apart. It's a very tricky way to write, but she pulled it off better than most writers.

Did you even read the whole trilogy?? Marie gets into a lot of character development in Prodigy.

Because someone else had brought it up a few threads earlier.Definately didn't want to turn this into an Allegiant rant.I loved Legend.

Noo, I didn't read the other books because I didn't really like the first one. But I'm sure a lot of people really liked it which is totally cool, people are entitled to their opinions.
