RLftCI: Currently Reading 2014
I'm reorganizing my shelves and added a "next-in-series" shelf... and needless to say, it is driving me nuts! I want to read them all.
I love the Arcane Society, especially when I want a comfort read.I finished
and
.I'm about to start
.

I finished
and
.About to start
, which I an simultaneously excited & scared to read.On audio I finished
which was total fun like every other Scalzi book I've read. And I'm currently listening to

Dear Stephanie,How do you read so many books? How are you able to keep everything straight? I only have the four or five challenges here on this site and I can barely keep up. What's your secret? Do you have a time-turner?

I'm a really fast reader, not as fast as others, it's sucks sometimes because i will find a series I absolutely love and I will read it to fast and will have to wait ages for the next one to come out. Also I'm a big planner, so I have list for for what I'm gonna read to what I'm gonna read for a challenge. for keeping everything straight in my head, I try not to read more then 1 book at a time or sometimes 2, i especially read 2 when I'm rereading books like what I'm doing now. I'm currently rereading
and reading
I might add a third book sometimes if the others are a little slow going or if i feel like my reading is slipping and i need a pick-me-up.
I'm almost done with
on audio. I'm loving it. So well done. Don't be put off because it is rated "G."
I've finished
&
.And I've also just started my "old" book for the challenge -
. Even though it's got a bunch of tropes I usually hate it actually reminding how much I love Amanda Quick.
I finish
, which..my first 5 stars book this year :D (actually more like 4,5*). What do you think about Reaver, KarenF?Currently reading
:)

A trope is a plot element or characterization that are used over and over in fiction, like friends to lovers is a big romance trope. If you have time to waste TV Tropes.org is a really fun website of how tropes are used throughout fiction.

Reading new stuff has come to a screeching halt here since we're getting the place painted and everything is in boxes and bags and stuffed into the spare room. I've reread
and
and am now reading
.
Earlier this week, I finished the ARC of
, Book #3 of the Unrestrained Series. The book was just released today. Great end to one of my favorite series!(Note, for those who don't know me, I'm the editor of this series. Hope it's okay for me to post about it here; I don't want to break the rules.)
That's fine, Michelle, as long as you don't keep "pimping" it over and over. BTW, I'll see if I can fix the series option link on book #3 of Unrestrained Series.
Lisa Kay wrote: "That's fine, Michelle, as long as you don't keep "pimping" it over and over. BTW, I'll see if I can fix the series option link on book #3 of Unrestrained Series."
Completely understand. Will refrain from further pimping, unless another member asks a question. And, TY for checking on that link! :)
I finished
&
.I haven't started anything. I want to start my Feb challenge books tomorrow and I don't want to be in the middle of anything else. I'd say that I might catch up on housework or other things but I'll probably just spend more time on Goodreads. :)
Lisa Kay wrote: "Oh, Bran New Death looks good, KarenF. I'm into mysteries recently. (Already read the AQ one.)"I really liked it. It's the first I've read by that author and she's got another series that I want to read now too.

I was just thinking that!! I'm still working on books 1 and 2 of this year and quite a few of you have already read like 20 books. Ugh!! How do you do it? Do you sleep at all?
