Sanjay Koushik Just Wanted to know when was Bhagavadgeeta written/said ?

Reason for asking -
1. Shiva and Chief of Vasudev Gopal are exchanging thoughts - So Gopal says' SONGS OF THE LORDS' or Bhagavdgeeta ??
2. In the end after Shiva mourning for Sati in Mt.Kailash, Ganesh lives and explains about the story of his parents.. in his lifetime he will also encounter Mahabharatha ?? !!!

As you all know The Gita is set in a narrative framework of a dialogue between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Lord Krishna. Facing the duty to kill his relatives, Arjuna is "exhorted by his charioteer, Krishna, among others, to stop hesitating and fulfill his Kshatriya (warrior) duty as a warrior and kill."[1] Inserted[1] in this appeal to kshatrahrdaya (heroism)[2] is "a dialogue between diverging attitudes concerning and methods toward the attainment of liberation.

So I am bit confused ??

Please light some candles in my Brain.. Thanks in Advance !

Saumya Bhagwad Gita was written/said 5-6 thousand years back when the The Mahabharata took place. It was said towards the end of Dwaparayug, the age preceding the Kali Age.
