Alright. This is something I have found in a few novels, such as Say You Love Me by Johanna Lindsey. I would like any reccomendations of hero coming to save the damsel in distress from a murderer or serial whatever. Just in generl, historical, contemporary, I just am looking for that trait, a repeat aand determined villan, who is eventually defeated. Thank you!

Julie Garwood has branched out over the last decade, her books like Killjoy, are modern but are set with murders. Most of the time, the male hero, is some form of law (Police, FBI, etc) and he has to protect the damsel. She is a great author, and one of my favorites - right up there with Lindsey.
. Stephanie Laurens Black Cobra Quartet is a good series with an on going villain.
] book three of Elizabeth Hoyt's legend of four solider's fits a bit better. Sorry they are all series, but they are all good in my opinion!
