I am only 2 chapters in, and so far it is good. The crossed out sentences are weird though.

I'm on chapter 6 right now. And I have a loooot of post it notes inside already. Am I the only one who does that? "OOOH that's a really good quote, let's highlight next three pages!"

And so far I love it. Especially the parts where Juliette is crossing out her real thoughts, looks a little bit like tumblr stuff (and I like tumblr stuff.) Though I don't really like Juliette's name, nor Adam. I mean. They are cool names but for me don't really fit to characters.

'Cause you know, there are names that you associate to some features of character. Like when I think of Juliette I think about Romeo and Juliet, a pussy-like girl who doesn't really know what she wants, that name would suit to some kind of small, blonde, nice girl, not a fighter. And Juliette in the book is a fighter (at least for me now.)
Same about Adam, Adam and Eve, first man and stuff. I don't know what I want to say to be honest. I'm just whining.
Everytime I'm reading "Juliette" or "Adam" I'm just changing their names to whatever.
Anyway, story is great so far!

Woah!!! Everyone's finished!? I'm only page 69, 20% of the way. I like the crossings out in the book however I'm not finding it very interesting or intriguing right now. Not sure how I feel about Juliette and Adam...

Yeah, I'm still reading too. Chapter 23 now and don't have much time to read it properly, I will probably finish in next 3-4 days.

And I don't know how I feel about Juliette - Adam pairing. A little bit too fast, too intense, too much. I kinda feel like it is instalove and I don't like it. At all. But the rest is great. I hope this romance will be sorted out in some kind of interesting way. And yeah, it bugs me that Adam of course has to be the only person who can touch Juliette without consequences. Sounds a little bit like Twilight to me. For me it'd be much more interesting if Adam would react just like everyone else - but on the other hand that'd be quite a lot like x-men. Well, anyway. I just don't buy it yet and I'm waiting for an explanation.

I just finished!!!

To begin with i thought it was a little slow and just not very intriguing. Also i didn't really like the romance as it seemed very instant. However, as i read on the book improved and by the end i was captivated. This book maybe a little slow to start and hard to get into, but, once you are submerged in it, it is amazing! I felt like i could relate to Juliette and the concept of feeling isolated, alone and not knowing who you are. I think the characters were developed well and i thought it was very well written. I liked how it wasn't always simple- everything was more than it looked and seemed. Also, by the end, i begun to like the romance more as it developed through the story.

Overall i gave it 4 stars, there is also another review on my user page.

I cant wait to carry on with this series!!! ^-^

well, I've finished it few days ago. And I have to say it pretty disappointed me. After reading reviews and seeing so high ratings I had big hopes but (view spoiler)[I liked the first part of the book, where,at the beginning Juliette and then Juliette and Adam, still were in the first room. But from then on it was really disappointing to me. First: insta-love (I felt it this way) Second: of course Adam has to be the one that can touch Juliette. Plus their relationship doesn't fit me. I don't feel the chemistry between them. Third: Their way out of their prison - too easy. Fourth: and that's the ending part - I hated it. When I was reading about this super place, safe haven they can go it was kinda predictable. And the last thing? Safe haven for gifted people where they are trained and taught how to use their powers? Doesn't it sound a little bit like X-Men? No. It doesn't sound a little bit like X-Men. It sounds ENTIRELY like X-Men. So no. A huge NO. I will definitely finish the rest of the series at some point but it may not be that soon. But I have to admit: the writing was really good. (hide spoiler)]

The names are as interesting as you will find with these YA books; Juliette and Adam. But the premise of the book while still has me curious seems very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading more of this tonight :) (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Main character Juliette has now ventured outside of her prison and has seen what the world on the outside is like and to be honest it doesn't seem any better than what her world on the inside was.

Warner is a dick who's forcing her to work for him and I genuinely do not like this character although I feel like this is the point.

I am waiting for Adam to rescue her but I feel like he won't until the end of the book at which point readers like me will be desperate to read the next book in the series. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

They're on their way home but Juliette doesn't seem to know where home is going to be, I'm guessing it's going to be where her family who gave her up are or the home of the 'resistance force'.
