We Love Lisa Kleypas discussion
Count me in. My goal is 75 books this year. Romance being the biggest selection. Reading 4 books at the same time. Can't help it. Sometimes my mood dictates what I read. Once I have a decent list I'll share with you.

Well, my plan for reading one each month didn't work out but thankfully I'm getting into the reading groove. I've just finished Texas Gothic which I picked up to read about 3 years ago. I don't know why I kept putting it (and it's sort of sequel) off - definitely a great read and I'm looking forward to follow up.Texas Gothic
Spirit and Dust

2nd book down. I liked Spirit and Dust and it certainly had me on the edge of my seat, but I did like Texas Gothic just a little bit better.
1. Texas Gothic

I bought this book a couple of years ago when I first started reading Laurenston's Pride series but just never got around to it. I loved the book, but I'm also glad I didn't read it right away because who knows when (and that's if) a sequel will come out so at least that was a year or two I wasn't torturing myself waiting on a follow up like I will be now.
Yes, SL doesn't have anything on her web-site about more in that series... and the first was written in 2009. Doesn't look good, Miss Kate.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Yes, SL doesn't have anything on her web-site about more in that series... and the first was written in 2009. Doesn't look good, Miss Kate."*Sighs* At least it was a fun read.
I'm sorry, ladies. Challenges have been quiet and so when I didn't get notifications for the posts here, I didn't think anything of it.I'll get them updated now. If I miss something, please holler!
Miss Kate wrote: "*Sighs* At least it was a fun read."Well, there's always hope! Or maybe you could write her.
For anyone interested, the All Things Spring Challenge has been posted and begins tomorrow!!It's not too late to sign up!

4/12Woohoo. I bought a digital 'bundle' that contained "A Certain Wolfish Charm" and the following two books about the brothers Westfield about a year ago I think. I absolutely devoured the first one, so I'm thinking I'll check out the other two next.

I need to read Monica McCarty's series. 3 stars isn't bad. What did you enjoy and what did you find lacking?
UniquelyMoi ... So I Can Shine... wrote: "I need to read Monica McCarty's series. 3 stars isn't bad. I have listened to this and I have read it, and still found it average.
So it's the book, AND the narrator that don't interest me
