What a neat idea. I'm in for the 12 - love to travel so this will go with that passion (and it's a lot cheaper).
There is a goodreads group, Around the World. if you like this challenge you should check them out, they vote on one country/region book each month and one US state book. But most useful for this challenge is they have lists of books fit current countries and regions.
I'd like to join in on this one, for 12 :)

I've added you Kathy!No problem Erika! I had trouble finding them for a bunch of regions so I went with 6 for a start to be on the safe side. Glad you were able to find books for all the regions (:
I would like to see how I get on with this challenge. Should manage at least 4 so please put me down for that and I might extend my goal at some point.
This is a wonderful idea - it's the next best thing to being there! Add me, please, with one for each region, twelve.
