Rachel Skinner (racheldavenskinner) | 7 comments In the Bobbie Faye series, book number 3 is When a Man Loves a Weapon, which is listed correctly in the series info that follows the title in parenthesis. However, in the data line, it's listed as book 5. https://www.goodreads.com/series/5074...

I can't figure out how to edit the data listing; can someone help?

Matthew | 6 comments I changed the book number in the series definition from #5 to #3 to match the book title.

Rachel Skinner (racheldavenskinner) | 7 comments Thanks, Mathew! Is that something I should have been able to do as a librarian and just couldn't figure out how? Also, slightly unrelated, but is it still true that only authors can set the primary edition of a book? In this Bobbie Faye series, the first two books were rebranded in 2009 with new titles and additional content (now called "Charmed and Dangerous" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Guns") I believe it's correct for the editions to be merged as they are, but I'm sure the author and publisher would rather the new titles be the ones displayed in the series listing, the author's page, etc.

Thanks, Rachel

Matthew | 6 comments Librarians can edit the series. You have to go to the series page and there should be a link to edit the series towards the top of the page. Not sure about primary edition. Hope this helps.

Rachel Skinner (racheldavenskinner) | 7 comments Oh gosh, now I see that tiny "edit" at the top! I thought I'd looked everywhere. Thanks for your help!
