Beacuse of his sense of pride in the perfection of his crime, he wanted someone to know, someone to find out why...
he did it...he did not crave glory, but wanted the veil to be lifted...
show the world that he was not different...

he would have continued unabated except one day he looked into a mirror whilst holding a knife

Anway to lighten things up, he held the sword of omens up and yelled Death to Mumm-Ra.
As he held his sword, just having screamed at the top of his lungs, he's struck by an epiphany.
Its all coming back to him. Everything makes sense now. He been having visions of alternative timelines that couldnt exist coz of his actions.

a hooded figure was staring right at him
He could discern his figure as akin to the man of his dreams with the gun, but
His heart doesn't let him to do so then with sudden urge from inside I move forward to...
...to bark of the tree to get a closer look at the hooded man but he was astonished to find no face inside the hood. He took out his gun....
"eww - the gum taste like ****" he though to himself and spit it out and aimed at the empty walking hooded ghost and shot it right at the chest.....
