I just finished Chasm City and really enjoyed it (although I felt at the end that the author was not "true" to his main character). I'm about to start Alif the Unseen
I'm currently reading Hocus Pocus by Vonnegut. It reminds me of Cat's Cradle, albeit without the apocalypse.

I finished Runes yesterday and am now reading Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews. Its still early going s but has been fun so far.
I started Alif the Unseen but it really didn't capture me, especially with Never Go Back sitting on my bookshelf. Back to Jack Reacher!!
I read A Devil in the Details and Endure. Also managed to squeeze in some Brandon Sanderson work with Steelheart and the short story Mitosis set in the same universe. I started Sharps earlier today as I have heard excellent things about it.

I just finished Ancillary Justice, which was quite unique and well executed. A bit of a rough start as you get used to the multiple first-person perspectives, but it's well done.
I just finished Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity, which was one of the best books I've read all year - if you're in the mood for some nonfiction, I highly recommend it.
Now I'm into The Hallowed Hunt and so far, so good - Bujold rarely disappoints :)

I just finished The Unbearable Lightness of Being which was really good. I'm now reading The Rose and the Thorn.

People usually recommend other to avoid the book.
I finished Reamde. In the dark, I was the victim of freezing rain which took out the power in my area for two days, I had friends who were out for 5 days so I cant complain.Started River of Stars
Been waiting for it for a while, the book store I frequent told me they could get the author to sign it for me, and eventually he did.
Yay
I liked The Hallowed Hunt, but not as much as the first two in the series - it just got too convoluted. But I'm still glad I read it and glad to own a copy.
Now reading Cold Fire to continue the Spiritwalker trilogy.

I'm a third of the way through Shift Omnibus Edition (Silo, #2) and I'm loving it so far. Just as good as Wool Omnibus if not better.
I'm just ready to start the second book in Butcher's Codex Alera series but I doubt I'll get to it until 2014. I will be about 2 books short of my 2013 reading challenge goal.
