Help: Can't remember the name of a book

Hello, I can not remember the name of a book I read, can anyone help me? He tells story of a man who lived in a society where everyone received genetic improvements and people were almost perfect, but it was the killing, he was about to receive a promotion was denied because more was almost dying ... then he uses the money left to buy a spaceship and enjoy the days he has left, but he is dying and don't have any credits/money left and assault a bank in a space station there that he meets another man who helps her and takes her spaceship is like a big city with trees and lakes.
