No matter how much everyone raved about it, you still think it sucks.
You endure every single page for the sake of finishing the book.
You know a book is bad when the main characters remarks how ugly and plain she is, even though every male character wants to get with her.

When you are thankful for distractions.
Then there's the friend that has liked them for years, but instantly get forgotten.
Wow! Who knew that one bad thing spawns so many other bad things! XD

You know a book is bad when the female lead blindly follows along with obviously dangerous guys just because they're really hot.

You know when a book is bad when you want to slap, yell, scream ot all of the above at the main character! (for instance Bella from Twilight!)

You're relieved when the book ends at 85%, and the remaining 15% are teasers.
When you change your policy about finishing books and start a DNF shelf just so you could get that book over with.
You know a book is bad when you keep reading the same paragraph over and over and over again and still can't follow the plot. By the way, why would we continue reading any book if we don't like it?????
Well, personally I don't like to leave a book unfinished, even if it's really bad...

her father just died and left her (his illeginate daughter who nobody in his family likes) his entire estate. i mean really?
Did his family piss him off or something? Imagine being his other child (if he had one?) sitting at the hearing!

Is it wrong that the possibility that he was murdered is the most interesting part of the book so far?
That sounds ridiculous! The possible murder thing does sound like the best bit.
