Stuff happens. I don't know whether this was a combining of editions - if so, you may have checked at the beginning, but then linked to something different than what you checked in the first place.
Unfortunately, we see this happen a lot - whoever enters a new edition of a book doesn't adequately search for other editions, so you get these multiple entries. And, of course, just because you read one edtion, doesn't mean that's the one that comes up when you add the book to your post!

Looks like I forgot to update my points from when I posted in post 1076 which messed up my totals and so my total no. of GR Authors should be off by 1 as well, so it should be 21 not 20.

Task 30.6 option 1 requires that you identify which list you used for each book.

Task 50.1, option 1, requires that a main character be a spy or assassin, as well as that "romance" be the main page genre. I don't see anything in the GR description of The Dark Bride that indicates that a main character is a spy or an assassin. If a main character is, please repost and explain.

The link in your post leads to the wrong book - the link in your post leads to a 46 page book with no genres. And isn't exactly the book listed in your post (close, but not exact)!

Task 10.6 - Tortilla Flat doesn't have "humor" listed as a main page genre. If you had this book pre-approved as "humor," please repost, with a link to the pre-approval.
Also, FYI, Task 30.1, option 4, requires "ARGH" in the title - fortunately, the book you used has an "R" as well as a "U" in the title. No need to repost.

OK, Sandy, I'll use Tortilla Flat for another task, or wait for Goodreads to put humor back on the main page again. (I have a printout of the main page from a few weeks ago that has it listed. The way Goodsreads changes the genres every day adds to the challenge for all of us, including the moderators.)
I've taken to getting every genre approved, no matter how popular, for that reason connie - I listened to Childhood's End last season and it was shelved as science fiction by like 200 ppl and in the space of a week that disappeared

You claimed An Ideal Husband for Task 25.4 option 2 - the book you have linked to only has 78 pages. You also used The Old Man and the Sea, with 93 pages. Books must have a minimum of 100 pages.

For task 10.10, you posted a book that only shows in ebook form - A Wealth of Unsaid Words. The rules of the challenge provide that

Also, please check your totals - the totals in your post are different from those on my spreadsheet. I show you as having posted 5.3, 5.4, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, 10.9, 15.7, 15.6-15.10, 20.1-20.8, 25.9, 25.10 (the actual number for Stacie MI's task), 25.11, 30.3, 30.4, 50.1, for a total of 460.

Dangit! I really need to stop posting things at 3am. :-p I thought I'd posted everything correctly that time.
I did find where the error was in my spreadsheet. I forgot to input the 25 points and 2 Author Tickets that I claimed. It was task 25.11. So my total is 460 and 30 Tickets according to my sheet now. I'm reposting the other task now with the correct link. Thanks. Sorry to be a hassle.

Sorry I didn't notice this before I posted about the ebook verification, Elizabeth, but Task 20.8 has a minimum page requirement of 250 pages - so you won't be able to use a book that only exists in ebook form for this task.

I'm sorry, Sandy. Instead of linking the edition I've read, I wrote the html code myself as I'm used to do in my comments.
This is the edition I read of Please Look After Mom. The mass market paperpack with 274 pages. Would it count? If so, do I have to repost?

The rules of the challenge provide: If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
For task 25.5, the paperback editions of A Spear of Summer Grass have 370 pages. A Christmas Homecoming has 224 pages. The total of the 2 is 594 pages, so does not meet the minimum page requirement of 600 pages for the task.

Sandy - Problems post #199 - A Spear of Summer Grass
I thought you only had to use the paperback edition if there was no page count on the ebook. This ebook does list a page count (Kindle version, 384), and it's the edition I read, so I don't see why that doesn't count. Can you please explain? I had to move another book because I listened to the audio version and then discovered the cover on the audio version was truncated, cutting off the object I needed for the task, even though the object appeared on all other versions of the book. Since that was the version I listened to, I stuck to the rules and moved it elsewhere. Thanks.
Chris - the book you use has to have a paperback page count to ensure that it fits the requirements of the task because often enough, the kindle pages isn't based on any hard data, and is easily variable - if there is a page count requirement

Also, I checked the link in your post, and there are no plants, etc. on the cover - looks like a "placeholder" type cover on Goodreads. If your copy of the book does have the necessary elements on the cover (which seems likely), you'll need to ask a librarian to add the cover to Goodreads.
