November Alternate Task- Read one book published in 2014

I was hoping to make it through the entire challenge without having to use the Alternate Task. Oh well, this month I need to use it. I rolled 5,5,5,6,1. So close! I needed 4 of a kind or Yahtzee.

Me too, Jane...first time this year I've had to use the alternate, and it's because I forgot to roll...and I even had my Chance left if I'd had a crappy roll! =P

LOL - I finally remember to roll again and I have to try to get Yahtzee! I managed 4 fours, but then ended with a 2 for the third roll :(

...Off to look for light sources ;)

I was rolling for Yahtzee too - and got 4 fives... Alternate task for the sixth month in a row!

I was kicking myself last month because I'd gotten almost to the end without needing to use an alternate task, and still had my Chance left (and Yahtzee), then I forgot to roll and had to use the alternate in place of Yahtzee. In the end it worked out well though - last month's Alternate task was much easier for me than this month's, and now I just have Chance left, so no danger of needing to use the alternate! And I even had a book by a new to me author that will work for Chance already planned for this month...woohoo!

Got my 3s! Which was all I needed. Didn't have to use an alternate task at all. =)

LOL Kat - not sure which of us has used more alt tasks for this game!
