Nice Fran!"
I never even got three of a kind! And I used my chance already too. Sometimes the Yahtzee gods don't like me very much... At least there is an alternate task, better than putting in a zero!

Read one book with a summer scene on cover (beach, water, pool, etc.) and one book with a winter scene on cover (snow, ice, skis, etc.)"
I need more clarification - as usual. Would snow covered mountains on the cover qualify, like this one

Of course! Now I just need to find a summer one - I think I read the ones I had on my short list already this summer...
Thanks Fran!

Kat, I put an etc. in the description to make it easier. Any summer item will do, like if someone was in a bathing suit and the title was Summer Heat. That would work ;)

That would be awesome, but even if we could stretch it that far, I don't think it meets the page count does it?

September Alternate Task- Read one book found on any shelf of another RRRC member.

As you noted Kat - this month's task is a great one at least ;)

Hey everyone! Let's all remember to remind Jane to roll next month!! =)

LOL!!! I will welcome the reminders!

Please roll for your October Task between Sept. 28- Oct. 2.
October Alternate Task- Read one book in a favorite sub-genre of Romance, and read one book in a sub-genre of Romance you read less frequently

I updated the wording to the October Alternate Task
A sub-genre of Romance would be Contemporary, PNR, Erotica, Historical, Western, etc.

Hi Roger!
I would like to run it again. We, the Mods have been discussing our challenge line up for 2015. If we run this one again it will probably start right after this one ends. So a January 1, 2015 start date. The challenge will get posted around mid-December.
I hope you join in (assuming we run it again)- it's been a lot of fun!

If you would like to jump in now you would need to do all of the past alternate tasks. You can roll for October though :)

Pretty much o_O
I've decided to read three by Linda Lael Miller. She's a fast and fun read for me every time!

...and it's almost time to roll again!
