Erra is a crazy villain! I was on pins and needles the whole time reading that fight scene and wondering how Kate was going to come out of it alive. Who snatched her up???

Loved all the stories about Roland - interesting history of her family!

Sad really that Kate hasn't come into her own yet power-wise. That was one of the things that annoyed me about this series - that it just takes so long for her to figure it out and enhance her abilities. Though she didn't have anyone to teach her. Voron was good for teaching her how to survive and fight but she really needed to learn how to channel the power in her blood sooner. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I really wish that Erra wasn't such a bad character & that she could've been more of a mentor/teacher/aunt to Kate. But that's not the way the story went so... it will just take her that much longer.

Love Kate's 1st meeting with the Council. She is so badass. So why would other alphas continue to challenge her? Especially after those 1st few fights *shakes head* Love that she stuck by Curran & read & talked to him while he was in the coma.

Derek wasn't in a lot of scenes so I missed Derek in this one :(

What happened to Grendel at the end? Was he still with Andrea? Speaking of Andrea, hated that she shut out Kate like that in the end.

If I remember right, the next one is going to be even crazier! Can't wait :D (hide spoiler)]

You bring up a good point about the shapeshifters. Maybe they hope to wear her down and one of them will get lucky? Not sure it is worth their life for that.

I love how Kate protected and watch over Curran. The shifters were horrible.

naked dinner: Poor Kate! She was really hurt. What was even worse was that it took sooo long for them to finally talk about it.

Saiman: He really knows how to stir up trouble. LOL Can you imagine him plotting his revenge against Curran? Gee, I will just take Kate out on a date. That will rile the bitty kitty up. LOL

Ted: I really don't like him. He is very anti species. I don't like racist people in real life and "speciest" people in books irritate me.

Kate & Curran: I really enjoyed the tricks they played on each other. Too bad that ended so quickly. Will they ever come to some kind of compromise? He really should have had that talk with her BEFORE sleeping with her. Walking out on her and saying it is over after the night they spent to together doesn't help anything.

Erra: She is definitely an interesting character. I am curious why the poems illustrate her as a man.

Andrea & Raphael: LOL I loved how they went a little crazy during the mating.

Dali: Her driving is crazy but Kate did tell Jim that she needed to get home fast. Dali drives fast so he sent the best person for the job.

Kate & Curran: So glad they finally compromised and made it work. I love that she stuck by him no matter what when he was in his coma.

Andrea: I am really disappointed in her. She just blocked Kate out after being friends all that time.

Erra: She was funny. I really enjoyed reading about her. I was almost disappointed when she was taken down.

Hugh: I don't understand why he hired someone to protect her. I would have thought, as Roland's right hand guy, he would want her out of their way. It is an interesting twist to the story and I can't wait to learn his reasons.
