Well???Patti needs an update!
It will be 9 of Feb tomorrow. The date goes up.
OIY Will.Some would think that was a clever comment.
They think it's all over..... It isn't. The great drink off starts soon. Stuart meets Simon.... It could get messy except he has already found the worst pub n town and likes it.

Am on train, short delay at rugby while they fixed broken train, now on the way again.
On the way up, train got stuck at Stevenage for 20 mins cos "driver needed a rest" (elf & Tracy or sommat)
Or it might have been hitchin. Some godawful place.
I went to school in Stevenage, I saw it on the telly yesterday, it was under water and a vast improvement! Apparently it's not a girls' school anymore, they've turned it into some sort of special school. I expect we gave them all the experience they needed.
And I should now be sat with Simon and Stu getting totally tanked.Deep sigh.
I vow that one day I will sit in a pub with Stuart!

Not quite - although to be fair my memory of the whole thing is a little sketchy...
I think the main thing I got from the get together (apart from meeting lovely people) was just how organised people are with regard to their writing, how professionally they approach the marketing of it etc. I am very lacking in that regard and will certainly make more of an effort in future!
