I tried to find an easier route home from my pals house on Wednesday night, I employed Jim's method (although without the sun) but I think my compass was upside down or back to front (maybe both) as I ended up further away from my flat.

No, but I have been to Heathrow on a bank holiday weekend, which I suppose is a close second.
On I've been to heathrow on bank holidays and school holidays frequently.Still a thousand times better than Lagos.
