It's the holiday season and it would be helpful to many if you could share your favorite books and/or your list of new ones you plan to read!

Well, I do think that this is a very interestin' list to read for the holidays! I would like to pitch in and say that there are several "Christmas-y type of books that I've been thinkin' about readin' for the remainin' part of this year. So, here is my list:

1. First Impressions by Nora Roberts
2.Blithe Images by Nora Roberts
3.Gabriel's Angel by Nora Roberts
4. Private Scandals by Nora Roberts
5. Three Fates by Nora Roberts
6.Hot Flashes Holidays by Nancy Thayer
7. Pieces of The Heart by Karen White
8.Learning To Breathe by Karen White
9.The Letter by Richard Paul Evans

But then again, I don't know if I'll b able to read all of those books or not...it just depends on how each day goes,I guess. But anyways, here's my list, I do hope that ya'll can enjoy it. And if ya'll would, just let me know if any of ya'll have ever heard of these book authors (besides Nora Roberts, obviously, lol!) and just let me know if any of ya'll have ever read any of these novals or not, thanks.

I don't normally read the holiday-themed stories but this year I'm in the mood.

I think they may be, but I have not read anything else by them. I usually insist on starting a series at the beginning but I may make an exception for Christmas!

message 14: by Heather L (new)

Heather L (wordtrix) I have nearly one hundred books on my GR Christmas shelf. They include romance, mystery and classics. I try to whittle away at the "unread" pile as much as I can each year, but the pile always seems to get bigger rather than smaller. I've already seen three or four I want to add this year. :-\

Picked up another one, primarily because of the premise (I'm a sucker for these story lines).

2. A Christmas to Remember - Jill Shalvis, Kristen Ashley, etc
3. Holiday Kisses: This Time Next Year\A Rare Gift\It's Not Christmas Without You\Mistletoe and Margaritas - Jaci Burton
4. Twelve Days - Teresa Hill

Quynh, I don't think it matters. I read it after but think it works to read it first, too. Plus, it's a nice introduction to the series. You'll be able to tell if you have interest in continuing.

Awesome, thanks. I'll revise my list. :)

Well, if u ask me the best holiday books to read for this year has to b:
The Gift Home for Christmas / All I Want for Christmas by Nora Roberts ,
All I Want For Christmas by Nora Roberts , Comfort & Joy by Kristin Hannah ,and
Christmas Jars by Jason F. Wright . I have not gotten a chance to get to read Christmas Jars Reunion by Jason F. Wright or even A Christmas Jar for Santa - A Christmas Jars Story by Jason F. Wright ,or Penny's Christmas Jar Miracle by Jason F. Wright but I do plan on readin' those books as well (just as soon as I can ever find them then I'll totally read them, too, lol)!
If ya'll wanna read them then I'm sure that Goodreads has them on here (if there's any of ya'll who's interested)....

Holly Lane was a good book. I have the last in that series, and first in the spin-off series in Mount TBR.
