Andrew chuckled at her eagerness "you don't have to" he said with a smile "I am sure I can unpack myself, no need to do more work then necessary. HE followed behind her in step, careful not to fall to far behind or she we pull him even harder to keep up.
((Wrong name again. ^_- ))
Kaden headed out of the student center towards the dorms. He had an hour or so to kill before his aunt would be in her office, maybe longer. He wasn't too worried about it even if he didn't make it to her office today; they had a week before classes started after all. Plenty of time for him to enroll.
He glanced around at the handful of people milling around the courtyard, smiling widely when he saw a familiar pair. He increased his pace to catch up with them before they entered the girls' dormitory. "Hey, Sofia," he called when he was about ten yards from them. "Need some help?"

She pouted softly "Andy, what was that for he only wants to help" she said before giving him a tiny smile, beside's you are there, what is the worst that could happen" she mused, stepping forward again and looking at Kaden "You can come with us if you like" she said gently "As long as you don't have to be somewhere" she added. "Then you don't have too."
Kaden had to smile at the other boy's tone. That's why I didn't ask you, buddy. You don't want your sister talking to boys. News flash: she's not a child any more.
"I do have a meeting with the dean, but she won't be in until later in the day, so I've got some time to kill," he said with a small shrug.
"Can I carry anything for you?"

Andrew grumbled something under his breath as Sophie handed off her bag "Fine, but be careful not to drop it, you know you cannot get it again" The box was full of china dolls their father had brought her from various countries, each one of a kind. "And I am sure Father would not appreciate a phone call so soon."
*~*~*~*
Sofia giggled, "Maybe from you, but he told me to call him whenever I wanted, guess we know who the favorite is" she teased before sticking out her tongue childishly before started back towards the dorms.
((porcelain*
Sorry for the delayed reply. I wanted Liv to to meet Andrew. I just had to get her here. ^_^ ))
Kaden took the backpack and slung it over his shoulder. "Is there anything else I can carry for you? This is pretty light."
*****
Olivia wiped the sweat off her forehead as she approached the small group outside the girls' dormitory. "Good morning. Are you all new students too?" she asked as she neared them. She felt a little self-conscious because of her outfit; she was still wearing her workout clothes - a sports bra and bicycle shorts. A light blush covered her cheeks and neck, all the way down to her cleavage.
*****
Kaden glanced at the newcomer, then smiled as he looked her over. Well, she's quite the curvy one. And another cat from the smell. A sweaty one. Still, quite the looker. Maybe she can distract Sofia's brother. I hope.
"Yeah, I'm new at least. Name's Kaden. Pleased to meet you, Miss," he said with a small bow.
*****
Olivia's blush increased when he bowed to her. She gave a small nod in return. "I'm Olivia. Nice to meet you." At least they aren't vampires. So far, so good. That Kaden fellow smells odd, though. Like sulfur, sort of. I'm not sure what he is. The other two are cats, though. Some sort of smaller cats, maybe even house cats. Yes, actually, I think they are house cats. They're the first were-cats I've met that are just house cats.
She smiled at them, hoping they would introduce themselves too. Especially the boy. He's cute. Not as buff as the drow with the odd smell, but definitely cute. Very cute.

Sofia smiled and shook her head "no, it's fine" she said "Andrew has most of it" she looked at laden tilting her head alittle "thanks for asking though" she said softly. She turned as the unfamiliar girl walk forward, giving er also a tiny smile.
*~*~*~*
Andrew looked over as Olivia walked up, he would admit she was stunning, though he knew if Sofia was out walking around showing that much skin he would most likely drag her back to the dorm.
((Sorry it's short, getting ready to leave))
((I can never remember how to spell porcelain either; thank goodness for spell check. Odd that auto correct doesn't know it.
No problem. With proper punctuation, that would be more than five sentences. ^_- ))
Olivia moved to the door and opened it She leaned against it to hold it open so the group to precede her into the dorm. "You all have your arms full, so go on ahead." She gingerly pulled the top fron of her sports bra away from her skin, giving a small sigh of relief at the feel of cool air on her sweaty skin. After a half a second, she let go of the fabric, letting it snap back into place. She couldn't wait to get a shower.
*****
"Thank you, Miss Olivia," Kaden said formally. He gestured for the siblings to precede him into the dorm. Sofia was the one with the room key after all. She should be in the front of their little group.
*****
Olivia frowned slightly as she waited. Had she misread this group? Was the odd-smelling drow some kind of servant to the other two? Was that why neither of them spoke to her, they considered her inferior? She would have to wait and see, but she sincerely hoped she was wrong. Maybe they were both just shy. Or maybe they sensed her leopard and were trying not to provoke her hunting instincts? She truly had no idea why they were not speaking to her.
At least the cat-boy had looked her over appreciatively, though he obviously didn't approve of her clothing.

Andrew nodded to Olivia a smiled in thanks "thank you" he said gently to her "It would have been quite a task to open that door with my hands full" he then looked up ahead "I should catch up with my sister." HE turned away from her and jogged down the hall in till he caught up, listening to Sofia's request "I don't know Sophie...I really need to get unpacked and organized" he said softly "Maybe tomorrow morning?" his breath hitched a bit when he saw her pout, already starting to rethink what he had just said to her.
"You're welcome," Olivia murmured, blushing slightly once more. They still didn't introduce themselves. How odd. But at least I know their names now: Andy and Sophie. She had no way of knowing those were nicknames.
*****
Kaden followed the siblings into the building, pausing briefly to kiss the already blushing Olivia on the cheek. He winked at her as he fell in behind the siblings.
*****
Okay, that was weird... She followed the small group into the building, letting the door close behind her. "Hey! Miss, Sophie, is it?" she called in a louder than normal voice, "What room are you in?" She didn't appear to know there were no rooms on the ground floor. Probably thought this was the first floor, which she had the previous night, until she saw the door 'numbers' all started with 'G'. "The first floor is upstairs," she said in a softer tone once she had their attention.

Andrew jogged to catch up with his sister again "Wait up" he called, being careful not to drop anything. HE came up behind her "stop running off like that" he said, chuckling softly.
"You're welcome, Miss," Olivia said. She turned away from the group and headed for the stairs; she didn't have arm loads of stuff to carry, so she saw no reason to take the elevator. "See you all later," she said, with a smile and a wave.
*****
Kaden waited until Olivia had disappeared up the stairs before he spoke.. "Why were you two so rude to that girl? You barely spoke to her, and never did introduce yourselves." She shook his head. "I'm surprised at you," he said to Andrew. "Cute girl like that? And you barely said a sentence to her? What were you thinking? No offense meant, of course. To either of you." The elevator arrived just as he finished speaking.
He was relieved to see it empty, so no one heard his little rant. That could be embarrassing to the siblings. Not that he gave a damn about Andrew. Sofia, however, he wasn't entirely sure about; he didn't want to embarrass her, but...
Maybe I'll just drop this bag off and leave them. I'm not sure what to think of either of them right now. They seemed nice enough when we first met, but then they were quite rude to that girl. Of course, they may not have even realized it until I pointed it out to them.
*****
Olivia ran up the stairs and into her dorm room, both relieved and annoyed to hear her roommate in the bath. She wasn't sure, but thought she might be crying. Or at least tearing up. She didn't want any awkward questions just now. There was an empty room at the end of the hall, with the door open, so she decided she'd just grab her stuff and shower in there.

Andrew looked at Kaden and frowned as he pulled Sofia close, staring at him with an unamused glare. "It's okay Sophie, you did not mean it, you where just distracted is all" he soothed as the doors opened, he slowly let her go. "lets get you unpacked, okay?" he asked with a smile, leading the way out of the elevator.
"I figured as much," Kaden said, giving Sofia a small, sorry sigh. "Don't be sad, Sofia. I didn't mean to lecture you."
Then he turned on Andrew. "You, however, I should lecture." He paused as the other boy got off the elevator. He shook his head again. The boy wasn't happy with him, but he really didn't give a damn about that. He wasn't too happy with the other boy either. How could he basically ignore a pretty girl? Especially one who'd tried to be nice to him. One who, unless he'd misread the signals, found the boy attractive. He almost never misread signals from females. Not since he was thirteen years old, at least.
He followed the siblings down the hall towards Sofia's room.
((You should probably post there next.))

Olivia found a bench not far from the front door of her dorm. She sank down onto it and began to watch the few people that were now milling around. Just a few hours ago, this place had been empty. Now, there were a couple dozen people milling around. She'd heard movement and hushed conversation in the room she figured had to belong to Sophie; it had been empty this morning and now it wasn't. She could only hope that meant Andy would be heading down this way soon. Every few seconds, she glanced towards the glass doors at the front of her dorm, hoping to see the cute cat boy heading her way.

((fixed it))
((Thanks. ^_^ ))
Olivia grinned when she saw him exit the dorm. She stood and slowly walked towards him. "Andy?" she said softly and uncertainly. She hoped he would remember her. And that he wouldn't mind that she knew his name. Or that she had used it. After all, he hadn't told her his name. She'd just heard his sister use it.
At least she was wearing more clothing this time: a denim skirt that nearly reached her knees and a short-sleeved, v-neck blue T-shirt that was tight, but not quite skin-tight. It highlighted her curves nicely.

"Olivia Fullerton," she said, holding her hand out for him to shake. She returned his smile with one of her own.
"I take it you didn't like Kaden flirting with your sister? Can't say that I blame you. I wouldn't like him flirting with my little sister either. But, then, she is only sixteen." She shrugged. "Am I babbling? I think I'm babbling. I'm sorry if I am. I guess I'm just a little nervous." Why I should be nervous, I have no idea. But I am. I mean, it's not like he's my soul mate. Is he? No, no way. He can't be.
Of course, I can't know for sure with out kissing him. And I can't just walk up to him and kiss him. Well, I could. I just shouldn't. It wouldn't be remotely proper. I don't even understand why I'm thinking this way. It's so strange. I'm far too young for this to happen.
"Yeah, alright," she said, blushing just a little. More from her thoughts than the idea of being alone in his room with him.

"I can understand that," she said, thinking of her own little sister back at home. "Um, yes, I think I'd like that," Liv admitted shyly. "Lead the way," she said, motioning towards the boys' dormitory. She was still blushing slightly.
She was also still considering kissing him as soon as she got him alone. It was a crazy idea, but very appealing. Far too appealing, truth be told. But there had to be some reason her thoughts were going the way they had been going, the way they were still going.
Maybe he would kiss her and save her the trouble. A girl can hope.

((Are you going to respond in Sofia's room?))
((Oh, yeah, sure. I hadn't realized I needed to respond in Sofia's room. I'm tired and a bit out of it, sorry.))
Briea ran through the courtyard, heading from the student center to her dorm. She was smiling like a maniac and laughing loudly. Raze was proving to be quite a lot of fun. And she would have even more fun with him once he caught her.
(view spoiler)
(view spoiler)
Raze was far behind Briea as he had reached the courtyard within minutes after taking a leap from the Student Center. In fact, he was gaining speed rapidly. He could tell that she wasn't as use to the amount of hunting and running throughout the forest as he was. I'm coming for you and I will make you my mate.
Briea soon arrived at the door to her dorm. She nearly fell over in her rush to open it. But before long, she was inside and running up the stairs. She was still laughing, though not as loudly as before. She heard the door open and close just a split second behind her. She smiled, certain it was Raze. In seconds, she was at the door to her room, struggling with the key...
((Can you post there for Raze?))
((Can you post there for Raze?))

Xantra had been too distracted to teleport back to her office from the student center, so she decided to walk. She'd been lost in her thoughts until she noticed something strange out of the corner of her eye: a girl transforming into a wolf. She turned and silently watched as she continued to transform into a shadowy wolf-like form and then back to wolf. She frowned, wondering what was going on with the girl. She got a clue when the girl went and sat down on a large rock near the parking lot.
"Wow," she whispered as the girl turned into a wolf form that appeared to be made of fire. She walked towards her.
"Hello. You look like you could use someone to talk to," she said, smiling gently.
"Wow," she whispered as the girl turned into a wolf form that appeared to be made of fire. She walked towards her.
"Hello. You look like you could use someone to talk to," she said, smiling gently.

Xantra's eyes widened at the sight of the now red-hot rock. Apparently, she had been a wolf made of fire. Day-um . I'd better not piss her off.
"I'm Xantra Dominic. I'm a professor here. I'm guessing you're a student, am I right?"
"I'm Xantra Dominic. I'm a professor here. I'm guessing you're a student, am I right?"

After that little display - the wolf made from fire, Xantra was hesitant to take the girl's hand. "You're hand won't burn me if I touch it, will it?" She was trying to keep her voice level, but didn't quite succeed. Her shaky voice gave away her unease to anyone paying attention. That and the way she kept stepping from foot to foot as if thinking about running away.
"Nice to meet you, too, Miss Bryn," she finally said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, too, Miss Bryn," she finally said with a smile.

"Oh, okay." She reached out to shake the girl's hand. "What are you that you can change into a wolf made of fire? I realize that's a personal question, but I'm really very curious. It's fine if you don't want to answer. I understand." She did take her hand back fairly quickly as she was still pretty nervous.
"You look so young," she murmured. Except your eyes. They look older than mine. Or even Illy's.
"You look so young," she murmured. Except your eyes. They look older than mine. Or even Illy's.

((No, it's fine. I just wasn't up to doing much yesterday. Sorry. I'll get my reply up shortly. ^_^ ))
Living legends? Huh. I wonder... Xantra barely blinked at the girl's words. It was far from the first time she heard an outrageous story from a student; some of them had even been true. From what little she'd seen of the girl's shape-changing abilities so far, she was inclined to believe her.
"Your eyes give that away," Xantra said with a small smile. "But then, I'm older than I look as well. Only because my mother is an elf," she said with a shrug. Her father had past away decades earlier. He'd lived a long life by human standards, but it had been no more than the blink of an eye to her mother. She still had yet to move on, though. She insisted he was her soul mate, that she would never love anyone else.
((Not sure where that last bit came from...))

Bryn smiled and looked to the side for a moment. "Like I said some weird family history. My family still tries to treat me like a child. Well that is because in their eyes I am. Let me tell you, the Medieval time was a quite fun. But then again, I feel you fail to believe me." Bryn finished with a sigh. She laughed when she rembered the "legend" of King Arthur. Like it was a legend.
((Medieval*))
"I've worked her for more than a decade. In that time, I've heard numerous students make outrageous claims, most of them false. However, given what little I have seen of your abilities, and what I know of shifters, I am inclined to believe you. I may not act like I believe you, but only because I have not yet seen concrete proof of your claim," she explained with a small shrug.
"I'm certain the Medieval era was not terribly fun for any paranormal being. Going by the stories Mother told me when I was younger, at least." She gave the girl an odd look when she laughed suddenly, not knowing what she found funny.

"No, I'm sure he was real. Mother even claimed to have spent the night with him once. I'm not sure I believe that claim, but I do believe he was real.
"Was that the question you wanted me to answer? Or did you ask another one that I've already forgotten?" I don't think she's asked any other questions. My memory isn't that bad, is it?
((Is her real age in her profile somewhere? I seem to remember her age being listed as 18... But her background made her sound older than that. If her real age isn't listed, it needs to be. [I.e. 18 (750) OR 750, looks 18]))

"He was a funny one him. But the one who helped me through the time. He was my first true love. I don't really know if I should say his name. But I can assure you it is no legend." She gave a smile at the thoughts of her secret past lover. She could still remember his face as clear as day. "I first met him while he was young. I can still remember his scent."
((Thanks. Also, scent* Sent is the past tense of send.))
Xantra grinned at the girl's words. And her smile. Her eyes were far away when she said she could still remember his scent. "Who would I tell? Besides, who would believe me if I did say anything?"
She was tempted to ask the girl to scoot over on the rock so she could sit down too, but it was probably still hot. It wasn't red anymore, not quite, but the air wasn't cool enough for it to be cooled off so quickly.
