A couple of questions about "Anonymous"

I'm thinking about a partial compromise, though. Several items are listed under Anonimo (like this version of Gilgamesh) that are also listed under Anonymous. I could just move over the ones like this, and leave the rest for now...

The reason being that while we don't want to 'force' English on everyone, the fact is that that field is treated as a unique user name. Names are not translated. Versions of the same book that are in different languages will not be able to be combined if they each have a translated version of "Anonymous" in the author field (French=Anonyme, German=Anonym, Dutch=Anoniem, and so on.)
So, I don't consider it as 'forcing' English usage on people, but of being able to consolidate all the versions of "Gilgamesh" for example, regardless of what language they are translated into.
Just my two cents. = )
The other question I have is with respect to The Epic of Gilgamesh. The main entry that comes up on the search page has this listed under Anonymous. However, there are quite a few translations that are listed with the translator as the main (or only) author. Again my inclination is change them all to have Anonymous as the main author. However, I would like to have a second opinion.
TIA
