What is your suggestion for our 24th Group Read (December 2013)

Please suggest a graphic novel (only one suggestion per member. If you suggest more than one, then your first GN mention will be chosen for this list) for our 24th Book Club discussion (for the month of December). You can post it in this thread up until the next several days.

After that a poll will be set up for the members to vote and decide what we will discuss next for December 2013.

DMZ, Vol. 1: On the Ground DMZ, Vol. 1 On the Ground by Brian Wood by Brian Wood

A little preview from Good Reads:

Set in a near future where a second American civil war rages, a lone journalist is stranded in the middle of New York City, now a brutal no-man's-land. Mirroring current events, DMZ is an unforgiving look at what a 'war on terror' can do to a civilian population.

Allen Rubinstein (allenrubinstein) | 76 comments How about Buddy Does Seattle? It doesn't look like this board has ever covered anything from the mad mind of Peter Bagge, and Buddy Bradley is his most indelible character. Annoying roommates. Crazy girlfriends. Lousy hourly wages. Nineties grunge bands.

LOADS of fun.

I want to read that too. Somehow, Craig Thompson reminds me of Osamu Tezuka.

Michael Gantner said to you:

How about Ironman: Extremis , I think it would be neat to talk about the differences between this comic and what they used for the films. Nov 12, 2013 12:37AM
