I read this book in middle school. The book was set back in the day and it was about a prince that stole a boat, and a girl saw it (I think the prince stole the boat from the girl's family) so the girl hid in the boat and went with him. They get together in the end and she has a baby.

I think the title has something about a wheel or "The Wheel" or something like that.

I read a book called "Fortune's Wheel" about Richard III when he was a refugee from England at the Burgundian court of his sister Margaret. He did have a romance while there but it's been a long time since I read it, and I don't remember much else. I read it in the early 80's. I hope this might help you.
