NBRC: Tower Teams Read 2013, Round II discussion
Haha, I'd love to take credit for that, but M Mango was sneaky and did it himself! Wasn't me! :pThanks, M Mango! :)
And sure, let's keep it going!
I have three more in the Sookie series, 11, 12, and 13!
Lisa, do you have books chosen for your Christmas Read-a-thon? If not, you might want to consider adding these:Christmas at The Mysterious Bookshop, by Otto Penzler
The Autobiography of Santa Claus, by Jeff Guinn
Being Santa Claus: What I Learned about the True Meaning of Christmas, by Sal Lizard
There are others I've really enjoyed, but titles are escaping me at the moment. If I can remember them, I'll come back and post more :)
I finished Tillmon County Fire by Pamela Ehrenberg 11/19. It can go anywhere, since we have a T title and a P and E author.

Me too, Jane. I love love LOVE this series. I might have to reread it next year!
11/21 update - finished Thistle and Twigg, by Mary Saumsfits series #1, T title, M/S author - and all are already filled :)
I feel weird, because I get excited when I see that people have posted books and then remember that, while it's still a great thing, it's not a WOOHOO one step closer to gaining on the next team! X)
Finished Betrayal in Death. finished 11/23. ****.Number in Series: #12 of the In Death series by J D Robb.
Go Lisa!Today (11/22), I finished Effected Intent, by Alan Ross, 238 pages.
Fits E title or A/R author, but I'm pretty sure those are all filled already.
I might have to nag ** I mean ask nicely** Monsieur Mango to do another update to see what we have left to do. I've become so OCD about challenges I can't leave them alone until their done!
Finished another update. We have series books covered up to #12. If anyone has another #4, we could have a second run of 5 ;)We still need to cover U and X authors, and titles J, K, O, R and X. That's really good, go team!
I have a U and X author on my list to read before the end of the year, as well as J and K titles, but I'm not sure when I'll actually get to *reading the books!
Sorry, I think it was wishful thinking that The House of Hades is # 5 -- it is actually only # 4 so if it hasn't been used anywhere else it can fit # 4.
Jane wrote: "Sorry, I think it was wishful thinking that The House of Hades is # 5 -- it is actually only # 4 so if it hasn't been used anywhere else it can fit # 4."M. Mango will have to move it from #5 to #4. And then we'll need a #5 to get our second string of five books!

I have a number five that I will be reading after my J title book.
I finished Ønskebarnet by Eddie Thomas Petersen 331 pages. It was for my Titel A-Z which includes the Danish letters Æ - Ø - Å
As we here don't need the Ø in A-Z title it fits Author names E - T - P which are covered.
Update: 11/23 - finished Cleopatra's Daughter, by Michelle Moran, 431 pages
Fits C title or M author, both of which are already covered
11/23 - finished Murder With Peacocks (Meg Langslow #1), by Donna Andrews, 311 pages
Fits M title, M/L author, series #1, which (again) are all covered
All of my recent reads have not been useful for these challenges either. I've had a slow reading week anyway and the next 2 weeks don't look much better. I'm still hoping to finish my yearly challenges in the last 3 weeks of December.
My next week and a half are going to be crazy busy, then I'll have a few days' down time before hubby's birthday, our staff Christmas cookie exchange, Christmas, daughter's boyfriend's visit immediately after Christmas ... I don't see things really calming down until after January 2nd -- just in time to start taking down and packing away all of the Christmas decorations LOL
I do have an X author on my list of books I 'need' to read before the end of the year -- it's the last book I need for my A-Z author challenge LOL -- I'm just not sure when I'll get to it!
Finished The Bride Wore Size 12 by Meg Cabot 11/26. It can go under series #5, M or C author, or B title.
