The Longest Ride question

I don't know if anyone will read this, i just needed to write this about The Longest Ride. This book will forever touch my life for this love between Ruth and Ira is everything I have ever desired for my marriage and feel i have not lived up to. The deepest change it will make in me is the lawyer who said during the auction that art is a lie that they paint into their reality. Our lives are what we paint them to be the story we tell ourselves and at any moment that story can change forever! Its not too late, i can still treat my Ira the way he deserves.

I just finished reading it. I was a good love story, kept my interest, but in the end just a love story..nothing special. I have all of Nickolas Sparks' book. Each one has been enjoyable.

I read The Longest Ride earlier this month, and finished reading The Choice last night. Both by Nicholas Sparks. I have currently started reading Nights in Rodanthe this morning.

While I enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks novels, I can understand why others might not be as happy with the predictable outcome of his stories. I, on the other hand am a romantic at heart and a sucker for happy endings and find him an amazing author that brings life into his characters and locations of every one of his books. I've also enjoyed viewing several movies based from his novels and hope one day movies will be created from each of them.

I will be posting my review on these recent books in the near future.

I love Nicholas Sparks books. I enjoyed the Longest Ride. I was surprised on the ending.

My bookclub also just recently read and discussed this book. We talked about the similarities of the two couples and how they tied together. Also, we talked about what the art meant to Rose and what it represented to Ira.
