Gretel had to sneak to the kitchen on the way here to collect some important things. once she was inside she hide behind a chair and waited for thimbelina to arrive.

Calmly strolling to the empty classroom she was immediately disappointed. "Where's Gretel" she murmured. Frustrated she thought to herself 'so this is how she repays me by leading my down to nothing.'
"SURPRIZE" gretel yells out jumping infront of thumbelina. then the lights came on and there in the middle of the room was a birthday cake layered with cream and decorated with little sugar flowers. "i found out yesterday that it was your birthday today so i figured..."((gtg dinner))

What? After all that occurred yesterday between the two this was the last thing she expected. Thumbelina never had any close friends and this brought a tear to her eye. She was astonished at the beautifully layered cake with flowers decorating the rims.
"Oh, Gretel! I'm lost for words. I've never had someone do something so kind for me before. I really appreciate it!" Without approval Thumbelina ran and embraced her and held on tightly until the moment passed.

at first Gretel thought this idea was a bit cheesy but when Thumbelina hugged her Gretel was relieved and knew at that instant Thumbelina liked it. After it past Gretel looked at Thumbelina dead in the eye and said "Thumbelina i am sorry for acting very inconsiderate and promise to look after you and treat you no different to everyone else. i also promise to be a better friend" then with a quick hug Gretel lead her to the cake. "here have a piece" and Gretel handed her a piece that had a pink sugar flower on it.
"Aww...It's so cute!" she took it and slotted it in her tiny mouth all at once. Chewing the cake in her mouth it looked as if she was a stuffed toy.
"so what do you want to do now" Gretel says in between mouth fulls of cake. "ar since there arent any classes yet we should probably practice something. what do you like to do?"
"I just like to take in the atmosphere of places and relax. We could go to the courtyard?" she questioned.
"sure" gretel says trying to remember where that is. "i think we can find different people. shall we go"gretel opens the door and leads Thumbelina out ((do u want to post first ))
Robin walked into the empty classroom, hoping to be alone. So far this school had been one big love triangle. First Rosalie and Darak, and now Marian and himself. Robin loved Rosalie, she was amazing and perfect, but Marian and him had such a history. He once believed they would eventually end up together. He sat down at a desk and buried his head in his hands.
Marian wandered the building aimlessly her boots scuffing on the floors as she went. She was silent and then she heard something. It was just breathing but she noticed it. She found him and just stood in the doorway and watched.
Robin felt another person's presence and his head slowly rose up, he startled a bit when he saw Marian, just watching him. He nodded and her and smiled slightly. He gestured for her to come in.
Marian stepped into the class room and took the desk beside Robin. She hadn't meant for him to notice her but she wasn't going to just walk away from him. She sat there in the silence of the room with him.
Robin sighed and laid his head on the desk, he peeked at Marian, she was straight faced and silent. It was unnerving, as she usually wouldn't shut up. "You're scaring me Mar." His voice was muffled by his arms.
"Because I'm quiet?" she asked. "I could say the same for you. You never shut up, in my experience." She knew she said it a bit plainly but she wasn't sure how to act with him right now. It hurt a bit to hear the name that only he called her.
"Well I'm trying to think. There's plenty on my mind at the moment." He huffed back. Marian was almost never serious around him. He worried that they had ruined their friendship by Robin finding out that Marian loved him. She could never find out about his feelings.
"Once again a new phenomenon. You've never been quiet when you were thinking. You were always sketching your thoughts out in the dirt." Marian thought of the hours they had spent together hatching plans and drawing them in the dirt to show the others later.
"Yes, well these are thoughts that cannot be drawn out." He retorted, turning his head away. Marian knew him too well, it was hard to keep her from finding things out.
"Any thoughts can be drawn out. You simple have a lack of sticks and dirt at this school." She paused and moved her head in an attempt to see his face again. "I know what you're thinking anyway though."
Robin frowned and looked back at Marian, his eyes scanning her over slowly, "What am I thinking?" He breathed out. He was afraid of her answer, she was such a good reader.
"You're thinking that you don't want anyone to get hurt. But it's too late for that because you are already hurt." She paused and just breathed for a moment. "And..." She couldn't finish, not with him staring at her like that.
"And what?" He asked, his voice gaining an edge. "Don't let me stop your sentence." He felt unnerved, and he knew Marian could tell, might as well make her feel the same.
"Robin did you really think you were anything other than an open book to me out there?" Marian said a bit shakily. "I could see every emotion you felt playing over your face at everything I said." She lowered her eyes.
Robin groaned, and put his head back down on the table, "Oh yeah Marian? Tell me, what exactly did you see?" He put his head back up and leaned towards her.
Marian tried to steel her voice but it still wavered. "I saw my eyes staring back at me every night when I looked in the mirror. All the same emotions that I saw there reflected in you eyes back at me." She admitted.
Robin chuckled coldly, trying desperately to hide any emotions he had, "You're wrong Mar. I love Rosalie." He shrugged his shoulders and looked away.
"I never said you didn't." She said coldly. "Don't try to put on an act with me robin. Don't forget how well I know you. You can't change that." she said. "I'm only saying that at one point, you felt something."
Robin avoided eye contact with Marian, shaking his head, "No. No I have never had feelings for you Mar. That would be ridiculous. Why would I have had feelings for someone I believed would never like me in return?@
"Because the heart does things that the mind doesn't understand." she said softly. She wasn't going to let him pretend he didn't care about anything. "Why did I fall in love with my best friend?" She asked him. "Huh Ro?"
Robin finally looked at Marian, she had said it out loud, "I don't know why. It was stupid of you. I'm not a good person, and you know that better than anyone." He shook his head, first Marian, now Rosalie. He didn't deserve either of them.
Marian let a laugh escape. "Robin, you're exactly like my brother. You do good things for people, you make me laugh, you have a good heart. If falling for that is stupid then I'm an idiot. What girl wouldn't love you?"
"I steal, I've killed guards before, and let's not even get started on how many girls I've slept with over the years." Robin rolled his eyes, "So I would say that many girls would not, and you should follow that example."
Marian began ticking things off on her fingers. "I've stolen, I've killed guards, I've tried to drown you. I would have killed James if you hadn't stopped me. What makes you any worse than me?" She asked.
Robin laughed darkly and leaned towards Marian, their faces close together. "I have the ability to seduce whoever I like, whenever I like. I think that tips the scale a bit, doesn't it?"
Marian didn't back away like she knew he wanted. "No that doesn't tip the scale." she told him. "It doesn't change the fact that you aren't actually bad your decisions are just questionable. Stop being a martyr." she whispered.
"I can't Marian. It's who I am, even if I love Rosalie, I still have those traits." He leaned closer, trying to make her uncomfortable.
Marina still didn't move back. She had been this close to Robin before but it still made her heart race. "Yeah but if you don't act on them, that's love." She said quietly. He wasn't having any trouble hearing her.
Robin laughed, "I could easily use them on you right now. How would you feel about that?" He asked coldly. Marian wasn't backing off at all.
"Oh could you? Do you really think I'm that easy Ro?" She asked him. "Is this really as easy for you as you're trying to make it seem?"
"I know you're not that easy Mar. But I also know what makes you tick. So it would be even easier for me to get you if I so desired." He breathed out, ignoring her last question.
"It's not that easy for you." She smiled, slowly. "Do you really know what makes me tick? How well do you really know me? Prove it Ro."
Robin smirked, "I don't think I should. What would Charming say? Even if it was only a game." He said, his voice lower than normal. He could easily prove it to Marian.
"Charming wouldn't say a thing if I never told him." Marian said. "What do you really know about me?" She asked. "Cause I learned everything about you." Her voice barely wavered.
Robin chuckled, "I know for a fact that this drives you crazy." He trailed his fingers up her thighs, trying to prove his point. "What do you know about me?" He asked curiously.
((You're spying! Don't jump to conclusions. :) ))
((Oh don't worry Tia! Robin would never cheat on Rosalie, he only wants to prove his point (: ))
((Same with Marian. They're both just really stubborn))
Marian bit down hard on her lip. She would not let him get to her. "I know that you love it when a girl flutters her eyelashes." She said too sweetly and demonstrated. Isn't that how we got stuck in that tree?"
