Looking at Nico after reading HoH

I won't spoil anything for those who haven't read the House of Hades, but its interesting to look back on this book. Nico's behavior makes more sense now...but do you think Riordan had planned Nico to be the way he is from this book(The Titan's Curse) onward?

I definitely dont think that Riordian had it planned all the way from Titan's Curse, b/c even after Finishing Last Olympian he hadnt planned to write Heroes of Olympus series. It might be possible that he might've planned it from the Son of Neptune.
