My all time fav Male lead series!

Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles, starts with Hounded
Kevin J. Anderson's Dan Shamble series, starts with Death Warmed Over
Justin Gustainis's Quincy Morris series, starts with Black Magic Woman
C.J. Henderson's Brooklyn Knight
Benedict Jacka's Alex Verus series, starts with Fated

@ladymurmur. I already read those books. I liked especially the Child of Fire by Connelly. It was a new concept for me where the hero wasn't the guy with the biggest guns magically wise.

I just bought The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan. I hope it's a good one.

John Levitt (also mentioned above)
Frank Tuttle --I like all his stuff, but the dark themes tend to be subtle and hidden behind humor.
Chris Strange - Man Who Crossed Worlds
Fairly weird, but definitely a male protag: Modern Sorcery by...Modern Sorcery Gary Jonas.
