Isabella followed behind him. "3000." She grinned proudly, skipping up to his side and piling her hair into a knot at the top of her head and securing it with an elastic.

He nodded and looked at the prize wall. He pointed to a giant pikachu and handed his tickets over. He held it under one arm and smiled slightly as he stepped away from the counter. He held it in front of him and laughed a bit. He put it back under his arm and looked around the arcade again.
"Help me decide what to get." She said, looking over her shoulder at him then back at the vast amount of prizes to choose from. She wasn't going to share the fact that she has never seen the yellow creature he held under his arm before.
He turned back around and looked at her, pointing at a sonic plushie for 3000 tickets. "How about that?" He asked in a deep voice. He then pointed to a giant goomba from mario, "Or that."
Isabella made a curious face at the plushed animals he pointed out. "What are they?" She asked, looking over at him.
He looked at her with an, 'are you stupid?' face. "Sonic the hedgehog and a goomba from mario bros." He said with a slight laugh as he dropped his hand to his side. He shoved it in his pocket and straightened his face once more.
A lightbulb went off in her head. "Those are video games, right?" She asked, peering up at the plushies again.
He nodded, "Yes." He said with a small laugh, "Those are videogames." He scratched the back of his head with his free hand and looked down at her, "So, got an idea of what to choose?"
She slanted her gaze as she studied the prizes. She pointed at the goomba. "What did you call that again?" She asked sweetly.
He looked where she was pointing and smiled, "Its called a goomba." He repeated as he looked back down at her with a soft smile.
Isabella smiled at him at then waved at the man behind the counter. "I want the goomba, please." She said politely, sliding her folded tickets across the counter. The man handed her the prize and she squeezed it then giggled.
He held his prize quietly under his arm and looked at her. He slowly turned around and took a few steps towards the door. He coughed into his arm again and continued walking.
"Hey! Wait up!" Isabella called out, running gracefully back to his side, her prize cradled in her arms against her chest.
He stopped walking, "Do you need something?" He asked quietly as he shifted the pikachu in his arms. "i doubt i can help you..." He mumbled as he stared down at her.
Isabella smirked. "I don't need help. And if I did, I'm sure I could manage it on my own." She said with a sly grin.
"Then, why did you stop me?" He asked in a slightly annoyed voice. He shook his head and stared ahead once more, towards the doors that let in a bright light.
"What's your name?" She asked, following his eyes. Her heart sank when she realized it was light outside. Looks like she was going to have to camp out here all day.
"Cruor." He said as he sighed at the light and looked down at her, "Well im not going anywhere, might as well play more games..." He mumbled.
" Crew-ore?" She pronounced questionably. "Why aren't you going anywhere?" She added, looking up at him.
"Its too bright outside." He mumbled as he turned around to look at the arcade once more. He sighed and rubbed his eyes.
"Since when does brightness effect demons?" She smirked, letting out her hair that tumbled down her back like a dark wave.
"It doesnt..." He mumbled, "But it makes me more noticeable." He said as he looked around the arcade.
"Noticeable how?" She pressed, checking him out to see if she can see anything peculiar about him.
"I dont like being seen in general." He mumbled as he started walking to the token machine.
"Well, that's unfortunate because I'm stuck here too." She said, skipping up behind him.
"Good for you?" He asked with a confused voice as he looked back at her. He shook his head and got his coins from the machine.
Isabella waved her finger disapprovingly. "No, it is not good." She frowned.
"Okay." He said with a slight shrug as he started walking away to play more games in the arcade.
"If you don't want to talk to me, you can at least say so." She muttered, throwing the unlit cigarette away in a near by trash can as they walked.
"I dont like talking." He mumbled as he pushed some tokens into a hunting game.
"So, then tell me to leave." She scowled at him. The corners of her mouth twitched into a small smile.
"That doesnt mean i dont like being around people." he mumbled as he shot animals and such.
Isabella beamed. "So, you do want me around?" She asked jokingly, watching him play.
"I could care less." He shrugged as played.
Isabella laughed. "I respect your honesty."
"i like respect." He mumbled as he finished the game.
Isabella cackled and then picked up his yellow prize. "What the heck is this suppose to be?" She asked, examining it.
He snatched it from her with a frown, "Pikachu." He spat as he held it under his arm.
He rubbed his eyes, "Pokemon." He explained as he started walking to another game.
Isabella followed him. "Care to explain what Pokemon is?"
"Video game." He sighed as he started playing another game.
Isabella nodded and shrugged, poking her prize with a skeptical look.
He coughed again and continued playing. When he was done he rubbed his eyes, "I really want to go somewhere else..." He mumbled to himself.
"Like where?" Isabella asked, looking up from the goomba at him.
"Anywhere but here." He said with a laugh. "I've been in here for a while..." He mumbled.
"At least you can leave." She mumbled, sighing deeply.
"I have an umbrella if that would help, Mrs. Vampire." He said as he looked at her with a slight smile.
"How did you know I was a vampire?" She asked, smiling slyly.
"Its pretty obvious..." He mumbled as he looked her up and down.
