"You're the only one worth talking to," Jonesy replied while staring at the machine's screen. "Well, besides the sweet man that used to come around a lot. I believe he was in his eighties, and he was an adorable, elderly man. He always had a story to tell and...no! No! I did not beat the high score!"

"Who has the high score?" Thomas said, trying to figure out who could possibly have a higher score than Jonesy.
"Someone with the initials TDG," Jonesy sighed dramatically. "I have failed my family. Our honor will never be restored."
Jonesy slowly grinned and hugged him back. "Thanks, but I will beat it one day!"
Thomas held her in the hug quietly for a moment before he whispered. "I really like holding you Jonesy. I can feel your warmth and it's wonderful."
Jonesy's face heated up a bit. It felt like an intimate moment between them. That was what she wanted...sort of. "I...like being held by you," she whispered back.
Thomas held her for awhile longer and then he kissed her on the forehead. "I'm lucky to have you in my life, You're an incredible best friend."
Boom. Smack to the face. Jonesy's expression contorted to an understanding one as she nodded. "You too, Thomas," she said before turning back to the game.
"You okay?" Thomas didn't say what he wanted to say because he didn't want to ruin their friendship. He didn't expect her to look unhappy.
"I will be as soon as I beat this high score," Jonesy answered and started to play again. She didn't want to overreact or anything. So, she was going to push it behind her and change the subject. "There is an assembly for the school coming up either tomorrow or the next day...I can't remember. Are you going to go?"
Jonesy swore silently at the game when she lost. "Yeah, I'm going."
Jonesy looked at him and shook her head. "I think I've played enough. Why don't you give it a go?" She gave a sideways grin.
Thomas shrugged and started playing. He wasn't very good at it in the past, but he seemed to be amazing this time. He got the 3rd high score.
"You've kept your mad skills to yourself...You know, Thomas, you haven't really told me much about yourself in the time we've known each other," Jonesy moved to his side. "Why is that?"
"Because the dead usually stay dead and I didn't want you to grow too close to me." Thomas said surprised at his score.
Jonesy had a sad frown. "It wouldn't have mattered. I still would have been your friend, and dead or alive, I'm always going to be attached to you. I'm a spirit bender, Thomas. There is no one on this earth who knows more than me that the dead usually stay dead. I knew what I wasgetting into when we became friends." She stared at the machine's screen.
Jonesy looked up at him, trying to catch his eye. "Thomas, you're my best friend. I'll always accept and adore you." She put a comforting hand on his arm.
Thomas turned and looked her in the eyes with her hand on his arm. He couldn't believe she was so kind to him. He shut his brain up from the inhibitions, put his hands against her cheeks and gave her an intense and loving kiss against her lips.
Jonesy stared at his closed eyes as he kissed her. She was just kind of standing there because she hadn't expected this. After what seemed like an eternity, but was only a few seconds, she closed her eyes and molded her lips with his.

Thomas let the kiss last for a few more seconds before her smoothly stopped the kiss. Thomas spoke with a happy surprise. "You didn't push me away." Jonesy kissed him back. Did this mean what he wanted it to mean?
Jonesy smiled at him. "Why would I push you away?" Butterflies were all in her chest and stomach. He kissed her! He kissed her! She would still ask him about his past later on, but right now, she just wanted to relish in her happiness.
Thomas smiled wider and then laughed with jolliness ((Not Santa). "Well isn't that wonderful?" Thomas kissed her on her lips again. and then again. On the thirdd of this set, Thomas kissed her with parted lips.
Jonesy nodded, "Yeah, it really is." What she always wanted, actually. She had kissed guys before. So, she knew, mostly, what she was supposed to do. Some guys had tried to teach her kissing techniques and failed miserably. She kissed him back as he did and parted her lips just a tad when he did. It was kind of funny that they were just kissing away in the arcade.
((Dibs on the Arcade Manager/Owner))
Thomas was deep into the kiss. He wasn't pay attention to the out side world.
At least that was until a loud and strong clap was made right beside their ears. It scared Thomas and made him jump back with a stone exoskeleton and brightened eyes, ready to 'pounce'. The clap came from a strong, older and slightly rugged.
"This an arcade. Buy refreshments. Buy tokens. Play the games. Spend money. That's how it works here. So either help me keep the lights on here or find somewhere else to snog." He spoke with a British accent. He didn't sound angry or mean, but he did sound like a professional. Certainly too professional and measured to be directly in charge of a small town arcade.

((Go for it :) ))
Jonesy was used to being snuck up on by spirits almost everyday of her life. So, the unexpected clap only made her flinch. Her cheeks turned bright red. "I'm sorry, sir. Yeah, um...Thomas?" She looked at Thomas in fascination. "You...want to keep touring Groversdale?" She glanced up at the man for a moment and quickly looked back at Thomas.

"To the...park?" Jonesy shrugged and tried to avoid eye contact with the looming man. "Sorry again, sir."
The Manager shook his head. "Not a big issue. Enjoy your day." He didn't smile and the kindness in his voice was subtle.
Thomas nodded to Jonesy. He took her hand and walked her to the Park.
