Why does everyone hate Piper?

I'm with Dria on this one. She's not judging, not really. Like she said, hating someone because they're fat is completely ridiculous. Also like Dria said, she is not fat. I can't see anything wrong with what Dria's saying. No offence Bosley, but in my opinion, your comment was plain rude.

Okay, sorry i probably wasn't thinking straight. But i'm sorry, Percabeth is better in ways that Jasper is. Don't get me wrong i like them both, but at times Jason and Piper just won't feel like a real couple. i liked Piper because she had a strong personality and she is brave, but what i don't like about her sometimes is that she cab act really spoiled sometimes and only think about her and/or Jason. What would make me wayyy more happier is that uncle Rick could make all three girls of the seven (Hazel, Annabeth, and Piper) become best friends or make them feel like sisters.

There wad nothing about hr being fat. I don't like Piper because I can't relate to her. Also she's pretty redundant if she's not using her charmspeak and/or dagger. I also think that's because she hasn't had enough action. Besides the first two books I the series, she hasn't done much. I thought in HoH, she'd do more but no. She's not a terrible character, but I'm not a huge fan.

Its okay, I agree with you about Jason and Piper. I just like them because they are new characters and there is already an entire series about Percy. And I do like Percabeth, well I like Annabeth and I tolerate Percy.
Er, I don't really like Piper that much xD Any girl in her right mind wouldn't obsess instantly over some guy.And she dared to repeatedly say that Percy was "unimpressive". So, I don't like her much, but I guess she is a little "overhated" (if that's the correct word to use, lol)

Percabeth has gotten really olddd......They were okay before but now they are just stupid...they talk like they are 30...they are on a death mission and they are talking about having kids...some 17 year old couple they are....

I think she is just an average Aphrodite girl. She is a bit jason obsessed. She always complains even though she has everything a girl could want beauty, charmspeak, and jason! I think Reyna is a stronger character than her. She is not that powerful or impressive as the others. Anyone can use a dagger and other Aphrodite girls have charmspeak. I do not see why she is special or different.

Piper is a good character. I agree with other people why she isn't a favorite character, but I think it's just that Rick made her all obsessive like that. She isn't a terrible character, she's just the way she was written.

Piper has no confidence. She is so dependent on what everyone else thinks about her. She's also super shallow and stresses how she doesn't wear make-up and tries so hard not to be pretty that it just proves she cares way too much about how she looks. I don't like Jason because he's rigid and prideful so as a couple it just doubles my dislike for both of them

If I have to say this again and again I will do so, Piper acts like a spoiled brat and I think she doesn't support her relationship very well with Jason. I actually like Jason, so yeah... But anyways in the beginning, when we first met Piper and all of them, she stood out and acted like a real woman, but afterwards she just kept lacking it after ever book.
Yeah. She always tries not to make a big deal of her beauty, which leads to the point where she things that she is beautiful.
Piper just seems a little too self conscious to me. I mean we know she is beautiful, she has great friends, shes obviously clever I just don't get why she is convinced her life is so terrible. I do however think that her character grew a lot in House of Hades and hopefully that will continue.
I don't particularly dislike Piper but I find her pretty annoying, I mean, I read books to escape reality, I spend all day at school listening to teenage girls moaning about their looks, their weight, etc. and obsessing over their boyfriends, I do not need any more of it in books. I know some people will say that is what makes her realistic but I think if you make a book too realistic then it is just like real life and no one wants to read about that because it is boring. Anyway, I would just like to see some more female characters in books that aren't there for the sole purpose of pairing them up with one of the male character - girls, you can be strong, independent, intelligent AND single - I wish there were more book characters like this

I love Piper! Sure I'd prefer Annabeth or Percy over her but I really like her! I love how she has faults and a really complex personality. I think a lot of people don't like her because she isn't a good fighter, like most of the seven, but that's sort of why I like her. Not every demigod is an amazing fighter and its nice to have a change! She's a fighter in her own way. I like how she isn't a typical Aphrodite's daughter. I'm really interested to see what will happen with her in Blood of Olympus!
piper,even if she is a demigod,is still half human so she has some flaws.. and she has good points..shes not shy of accepting that shes like any other girl,she can get jeaulous if she wants to.for that reason we should not hate her.i like her,not in a crazed OMG-i-so- wanna-be-like her way but in an approving way

I personally hate not b'cause i like reyna more it is b'cause I feel that she is selfish at timesand very possesive to Jason. There are some times she think only about jason. And i dont like piper-jason pair too.
