I would be willing to read Shutter Island
Okay, I can prolly start it next week (I just have to borrow it from the DC Library website).I LOVED the movie and am so interested to see how the book is, even if it isn't my typical genre.
Alienicole wrote: "Do you use a Kindle or print copies? (just wondering)."I prefer print but if the library doesn't have a print copy I'll go for the e-book. When I buy I still prefer printed copies but I will grab whichever is least expensive. You?
Colleen, sorry it took so long to reply! Id love to read Room with you! When would you like to start?
I have just read Divergent . Im going to read its sequel Insurgent . So please message me if you wanna read it with me

Okay, just gimme a bit to organize. I just started Fried Green Tomatoes but I think i'm gonna end up breezing through it.But then I have to figure out the first group read for my group.
But it shouldn't be so long, and thanks Tetty <3
Neha wrote: "I just got my buddy. Thanks anyways :)"Hi Neha - What most people do for a buddy read is to find at least one person that would like to read the book with you, then set up a thread in this folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... and anyone can join the conversation after that. That way, it ends up being a bigger group read. I'm just throwing that out as an option. If you'd prefer to have a private buddy read through individual messages, that is up to you.

I would finally want to read The Lord of the Rings :) Or re-read all of the Harry Potters or/and Twilights :) Also I would like to start Divergent :)
Hi I am new to good reads. I would like to buddy read. My preference is romance and paranormal romance. If anyone would like to buddy up let me know. I am looking to start a new book and have lots I can lend too.
A buddy read is when you read a book with one or more people. If someone wants to read the same book as you you can create a thread and discuss the book. If people are at different stages of the book you might want to put a spoiler tag in your post.
I really want to read The Game of Thrones but every time I start it makes me sad so I stop within a chapter. I am thinking that if I have a buddy to read it with I will stick to it this time and at the same time have someone to talk about it with. :) I was thinking about starting it mid-December. If anyone is interested let me know.
i have been meaning to start that series as well...i could probably start it with you in mid december :)
Chrystal wrote: "i have been meaning to start that series as well...i could probably start it with you in mid december :)"Great! If sooner works for you that is fine too. When would you like to start? I am just trying to find my copy right now. :)
I have vacation from work the week of the 9th of december if you want to start there. Are looking at doing the whole series or just the first book??Also i will admit this is my first buddy read and i'm excited :)
I would love to do a buddy read. It really doesn't matter what book it is, I'll just have to check if I have it or if I can get it from my library. I'd be happy to exchange 'to read' book lists if anyone is interested. :)
Does anyone in this group want to a buddy read of something that's religious fiction or spiritual growth? These are the main genres I am in the mood to read at the moment, but I'm open to almost anything.
If so, I have a few titles in mind. Here they are: Abigail's New Hope and A Marrriage for Meghan by Mary Ellis, A Change of Fortune by Jen Turano, A Blue and Gray Christmas Collection by Vickie McDonough et. al., A Pioneer Christmas Collection by Kathleen Fuller et. al., , Amanda Weds a Good Man by Naomi King, Autumn Grace by Marianne Ellis, Rebecca's Christmas Gift by Emma Miller, Sarah's Christmas Miracle by Mary Ellis, Sushi for One? by Camy Tang, and Trouble in Store by Carol Cox. Crazy Love by Francis Chan and Limitless by Nick Vucivic are the first books that come to find in terns of spiritual growth.
