I agree. I've read most if not all of those books. One very memorable one is Night Without End. I can remember feeling very cold while reading it.

Yes, Night Without End was good too. I read so many of his books that I couldn't think of all at the moment.

Where Eagles Dare, definitely. Guns of Navarone is second.
