Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Nice Book Concierge!!

Well Done Sharon!!

Good Luck Debbie!! You can use any books read after the start date so if you want to go back and search books already read feel free to do so.

Zuzana | 1217 comments Paris wrote: "We're almost halfway through the challenge, how's everyone doing on their lists?"

I'm still looking for 10 items from the basic list. The most likely to give me headache: Long Island Iced Tea and bodybuilder. ;)

message 55: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Zuzana, both of those gave me headaches the first time they were in a list. I thought they would this time too, but I actually just found both and was so happy about that.

I think the cruise is going to hurt me this time. And catchphrase.

message 56: by Zuzana (last edited Nov 18, 2013 11:43AM) (new)

Zuzana | 1217 comments Paris, would you accept "After the table was cleared and the dishwasher filled,..." for household chores?

BTW, congratulations on finding Long Island Iced Tea, so far you're the only one. :)

message 57: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Zuzana, I would accept that.

I'm actually super excited I found Long Island Iced Tea. I read a lot of books with girls getting drinks and none of them would drink one of those. Finally found one and it actually was a really good book.

message 58: by ❀Tea❀ (last edited Nov 20, 2013 03:48AM) (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 527 comments I'm 7 items short on main list (need to update post) and 2 on bonus one.

I'm another one who still needs to find Long Island Iced Tea. Looks like everyone in my books is drinking Irish Coffee. :P

I think I had in one book kid that was called Drummer. Will that count? Even if he's only mentioned?

message 59: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments For Drummer that'll work Tea.

I had every alcoholic drink under the sun it seemed like until I got lucky. Margaritas, martinis, etc.

Good luck with the rest of your items.

Debbie (debbiegray) | 1030 comments I am moving right along with this (post 52) just 8 left, but these seems to be the really tough ones for a lot of us.

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments We got 2 weeks left. How's everyone doing?

message 62: by ❀Tea❀ (last edited Dec 17, 2013 03:09PM) (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 527 comments Reading book with last item from bonus list, and from main one I'm only missing golf cart (have feeling it's gonna stay that way).

message 63: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Nicely done Tea!

message 64: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 527 comments I've found golf cart in dog tag book, so that means I'm done with both lists! Yay!!

message 65: by Zuzana (new)

Zuzana | 1217 comments Congrats, Tea. And with time to spare. :D

I'm missing 1 item from the main list and 1 from the bonus list. And that's it. I don't think that I'll find anything else. But I guess that's o.k. I will use 1 of my bonuses for the dreaded "Long Island Iced Tea" and I'm done.

message 66: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Way to go Tea! I'm short catchphrase.

Man Zuzana, I wish you could have found Long Island Iced Tea. I think I read it in another book recently too.

message 67: by Zuzana (last edited Dec 25, 2013 05:55AM) (new)

Zuzana | 1217 comments Well, I won't be finding "Long Island Iced Tea" before the end of the year. My next two books are set in the 13th and 14th century and somehow I don't think that Long Island Iced Tea was a popular drink back then. ;-)
