This sounds awesome! I like the 'non paranormal' aspect of it! I like how it actually makes perfect sense. Well done!
Thanks! I was kinda proud of it :). I even read books with most of those creatures, but I might do the alternate because it seems more fun.

Alyssia, can i do half and half or a mix of them? i know i won't be reading a book with mermaids or unicorns but i have some with werewolves and vampires, i have a ton of "classics"...so, could i do this?

A centaur and a mermaid are half humanoid and half animal (horse & fish), so if you read a book that is say fantasy & mystery, that would qualify. Or at least that is what I took from it, but I could be wrong Leigh. I guess wait for Alyssia to clarify.

I wanted to add that variations are at your own discretion. I think a Rusalka is a fine mermaid, for instance.
