I'd love some recs for newer books with a trad regency feel. Keep them coming!
Thanks for this thread. Have already purchased a couple and am excited to read them. I'd also like to mention mine, sorry for the self-promo, but it does fit the category of traditional regency. It's called Her Grace in Disgrace. And please keep those recs coming.

Unfortunately, Jude Morgan's books don't seem to be in Kindle. Well, except for one and it was $11...a bit steep for a kindle book.

Most if not all of his books are on Kindle and they are all about $8.78 wich I admit might a bit pricy but its quality. At least for Indiscretion wich is one of my favorites :)
There are a lot of up and coming Regency writers choosing to write clean and sweet romances, especially in the ebook publishing world. The traditional publishing houses still have their requirements for plotting and sensuality; newer book companies understand that readers want original romances with a choice of heat level. You can check out CleanReads on FB or here at Goodreads for some ideas. One of my own Historicals is a 5 star Jane Austen-inspired clean Regency: Josette by Danielle Thorne.
Love the trend and the conversation. Us clean writers are out there!
I went to Amazon and couldn't find them for Kindle. I'll check again. I keep running out of reading material, so I'd love to have a new author to add in.

I was disappointed in Seeking Persephone which had a strong start but faltered a bit in (on hold for now) but Glimmer of Hope was really touching and original.
I havent Heard of Jennifer Delamere though.Maybe Ill check her out :)

Well Glimmer of hope does have an open ending of sorts...and sad,well yes I guess its that too. But its also beautiful. But the couple definetely end up together.
I could spoil it for you...But I wouldnt like to do that. I cant really explain it but its one of those books... the whole of it makes it good even if its not the ideal HEA were used to from other historical romances,I still count it as HEA.
I'm making a list of my all time favourite Regencies. I haven't done it on Listopia, but as a bookshelf on my page. I'll be adding more as I scan my shelves and I'd be interested to hear suggestions! BTW, I write traditional Regencies also--all available on Amazon Kindle. www.lesleyannemcleod.com
I have a recommendation that I think belongs in this thread. I read a regency that I consider traditional regency from Susan Gee Heino. It's called Miss Wheaton's Whiskers. I absolutely loved it. I loved the humor and tension.

I just heard about some new regencies just released. They are classified as "nothing more than kissing" so I am adding them to my list, but I thought others might want to take a look also. They are: My Lord Hercules - Ava Stone; Lady Fiasco - Kathleen Baldwin; A Perfect Secret (#3 in the Rogue Hearts series) - Donna Hatch. Also there is one called A Gift From the Stars - Linda Banche. It looks like a bit of sci fi/paranormal mixed in on that one - I'm going to check it out, cuz I'm also a trekkie at heart :) It sounds like fun.

And I recently finished Fair Child by Jaima Fixsen, which is also a fab clean Regency read. I'm currently reading 'Her Grace in Disgrace' by Claudia Harbaugh (which Claudia herself mentions above!) and I'm really enjoying it.
New traditional Regency authors that haven't yet been mentioned here include Suzanne Allain, Aileen Fish, Lizzie Church, Meredith Allady, Mary Robinette Kowal (adventure/mystery/magic in the tradition of Jane Austen) Avalon Historical Romances are traditional
Regina Scott is an old author currently writing Inspirational Regencies but she has plans to revise and write more traditional Regencies in the same series as her book la Petite Four.
While not new, A Diamond in the Rough by Andrea Pickens is now available in e-book. It's a reprint of an old Signet title. Clean and well-written.
Thank you, QN; I am looking for some well-written traditional titles. I am really disappointed that so many so-called Regencies or Historical romances are not clean, poorly proofread, and have uninteresting (I'm trying to be tactful) plots, heroines, and heroes.

My Fair Gentleman is a new traditional Regency romance. Kisses only. There seems to be some overall Christian themes but nothing specifically religious. It is similar to Regina Scott's Zebra Regencies.
I found Claire, After All, an early Victorian romance, enjoyable. It's similar to Frederica but written like the old traditional Regencies published by Zebra and Signet.
