That shouldn't be a problem Lynn, it's the summer holidays so I have a lot of spare time to read. :)

I know it was a buddy read recently, but anyone interested in reading The Fault in Our Stars in August or September?

I want to read Joe Hill's Horns before the movie (which is released on oct 31st, I think). Anyone else?
Anyone interested in reading any of the following?Landline, Rainbow Rowell
Paper Towns, John Green
Me Before You, Jojo Moyes
Never Let Me Go, Kazuo Ishiguro
The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chbosky
A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens
Let me know. I was thinking August or September.
Would anyone be interested in reading any of the following books? Also, if none of these books appeal to you but you'd like a buddy, let me know!Mary Magdalene by Diana Wallis Taylor
The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg
Misisipi by Michael Reilly
Timecaster by Joe Kimball
Death Whispers by Tamara Rose Blodgett

I just bought a copy of Paper Towns and would read it with you next month if you're still interested.

Perfect! When do you prefer to read them? And in any particular order?
Monica, I was planning on reading The Paper Magician later this month, but I can set it aside for next month if you'd like to read it together.

I'm ready to read them whenever you are ready. And we can read them in any order.
Monica,Whenever you want to read The Paper Magician is fine with me! All we need is a mod to set up a thread, or if it's just us two, we can do it like a TBR twins read and just PM each other about it. If we wait until next month, we may get a couple others to participate with us, but it doesn't matter to me at all!
I'll join in on reading Horns, and Cassandra and Monica, I'll read The Paper Magician with you. I just bought a copy this weekend.
How about we set the buddy read of The Paper Magician for the beginning of September? Does that work for everyone?

I'm away for the rest of the month, and didn't bring any of those two books, so it'll have to be next month. Is that ok for you?
Ramsha, I'm new to the board and late to your request -- did you read Wonder? If not, I'd be interested in reading it with you.

Hi Rebeca
What two books are you wanting to read in September?
are there any books people would like to read in October? We currently have none listed. October may be a good opportunity to read any of those dark books you may have been putting off until the time is right. Perhaps now is that time.
is there anyone who is interested in reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown with me,maybe on October?
Zara, I wouldn't mind reading something in the horror or gothic genre for October. I'll take a look for more, but two that come to mind are:
The Stand by Stephen King
Swan Song by Robert McCammon
Great, Karina. I picked up the Audible version of Swan Song over a year ago during a $4.95 sale. It seems like an appropriate book for Halloween month.
Would anyone be interested in reading The Aviator's Wife next month? I'm the next one in line for it at the library.
Theresa and Zara I would love to read The Stand by Stephen King with you in October if y'all decide to read it.
Brianna, I'm up to reading both The Stand and Swan Song in October. I've seen the TV Mini-Series version of The Stand but have never read the book. I've read some review that favorably compare these two books, so I'm inclined to read them both.
I've updated the books wanting to be read. December has only one book requested so if anyone would like to nominate some books for then as well as for October please feel free to do so.
Zara, we have at least 4 people wanting to read The Stand in October. Can you add that one, too?As for December, I'll probably be trying to wrap up some series I want to get read in 2014, including 5 books to read for each of two series:
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson - 5 of 14 to finish.
In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust - 5 of 7 to finish.
Could we have a End of Year/End of Series Buddy Read for November and December? Rather than sharing a specific book, we could post progress made toward finishing a series, and hopefully celebrate as readers knock them off before the end of the year.
