Does anyone wanna read Broken Hearts, Fences and other things to mend by Katie Finn aka Morgan Matson in March
Hello Zara, I'd like to join for Fall of Giants in February and Moby Dick in March, if I've got that right?

Many thanks :)
I would love to join The Shining reading buddy read! I have seen the film, but I have never read the novel (I know, shame on me). I have read other Stephen King novels and short stories however, and I would love to add The Shining to my "Read" list! Noah

Cassandra wrote: "Alisia and I are interested in reading Atlas Shrugged in March."Thanks Cassandra. I've added it to March's list.
Zara do you think you can add The Shiningto the Buddy Reads of May, please? So far I think we are 3 persons.

Can't wait for The Shining Group Read in May! Stephen King manages to scare me like no other author can!
I'll have to join in on The Shining. I've never read Stephen King horror, but I've been meaning to. It will be fun to discuss that. For a long time, I never read horror books because I'm too much of a wimp to watch horror movies. Then I realized that the thing I don't like about horror movies is things popping up out of nowhere in my face. None of that when the movie is in my head! I like the psychological thriller aspects of horror.

That is Great Cassandra! I love horror books, but be careful. One night, very late I finish reading The Damnation Game and when I was going to bed it was a sound in my home (I live alone) turns out something fell in the kitchen, but I was so scare that I scream and almost didn't manage to sleep that night. Horror books can be more scary than the movies. I am really happy for this reading because I have never read anything of Stephen King despite the fact that I love horror literature (shame on me).

Cassandra, I never heard of The Damnation Game before, I am now officially intrigued! I have read some work of Clive Barker before, he is another AMAZING horror author. The Hellraiser film series is one of my favorites! Thanks turning me on to a new title! I'll be sure to let you know what I think when I finish it!

The Damnation Game is the first novel of Clive Baker. Books of Blood, Volumes One to Three are his short stories that are also incredible, but this novel is really good. I recommend both.
That was actually Caro's recommendation. The quoting system on Goodreads isn't the best and can get a little confusing.I've also been meaning to read some more Clive Barker. I loved the foreword he wrote for one of Neil Gaiman's Sandman volumes. I read Abarat, which wasn't the best book but had a really great idea. I've heard that his Hellraiser graphic novels and horror novels are much better.
I'm always a day late and a dollar short coming to the party, but is anyone interested in reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn? I'd love to start it this month, but I can also hold it to March if that's a better fit for schedules.
Harper Lee's previously unpublished book about Scout Finch is to be released on July 14. I'll definitely re-read To Kill a Mockingbird in May or June - would anyone like to join in?
I would like to join in on To Kill a Mockingbird. It has been way too long since I last read it.
Cassandra wrote: "I love all of this participation! It makes buddy reads so much fun."I agree Cassandra. I'm very encouraged by the wonderful participation we're getting for the BRs.
Ramesh and I are going to read Gravity's Rainbow in March and April. We would love for more people to join us. We are also going to read the A Gravity's Rainbow Companion: Sources and Contexts for Pynchon's Novel at the same time to help us through it.
Jodi wrote: "Ramesh and I are going to read Gravity's Rainbow in March and April. We would love for more people to join us. We are also going to read the [book:A Gravity's Rainbow Companion: Sources ..."I've added this book to the list for March & April.
Heidi wrote: "I would like to join To Kill a Mockingbird and Sharp Objects, please."I've included your name on each of these buddy reads Heidi.

Hi Caro.
I have a record of this book on my handwritten list that I keep so I know who to add to the participant list. I've now added it to list on here as well.
