The other week I took a look at the card and got excited cause I saw 3 in a row, then I remembered we aren't doing 5 in a row and I deflated a little lol.
Shelf! Shelf! Shelf!
I want to pick a book...
I'm going shopping and I'll be taking the train. I want to know the shelf so I can start reading something right away!
I had the same moment of excitement, Vivian. It's definitely too early to know who's leading when the others patterns are in play. At the end of this round, we'll take a poll of players to find out how these different patterns were liked. Either way, we will most definitely continue hosting "regular" rounds of BSB.
Shelf coming up!

It might be time to not have "shelf" in the title; for the last few rounds less than half the stamps were for goodreads shelves. I understand why and how hard it is to find the shelves anymore the way goodreads buries them and keeps trying to redirect to genres. But, it's not really Book Shelf BINGO anymore, just Book BINGO.
ETA: Off to dig out a tablet to call up kobo, nook and kindle reading apps to see which covers are black or gray versus just showing that way on my eInk ereaders (end of month book budget exhausted so not buying anything not already downloaded)...I shouldn't complain about patterns yet because my team potentially has 3 stamps in every pattern already.
I just finished
yesterday. This happened with the new release (published in 2015) shelf too but this one, I got a bunch of options!
Do one of these work?
(just checking in case the white negates the figure in the black cloak in the one version or if the other is too blue.)
Late comments, but thank you, Mary~was previously a member ($35 then...gulped at the raise in price, but will have to check it out again...though rereading a lot of my personal library with pleasure, and adding via e-books) Yep, English is definitely my language for reading. Speaking is a mix....crazy mix at times!

I love these books. I'm in the middle of rereading them. Just finished book 2
I started it a few years ago and have put off picking it back up because I know I need to start from the beginning again. But my library has it in ebook now so I'm going for it again.
Judithe, it was only $35 for a Philly library card when I joined a couple of years ago but they upped it to $50, I think last year. But it's still cheaper than buying books. I figure if I only get 2 books from them a month then that's only $2.08 per book which is cheaper than buying them since most of what I get from there is at least $4 to buy in ebook.

"Val, since I ok'd Raquel's, I'll okay that one too. Not being too strict on this one, as you can tell. ;)
So I started another book because for some reason I was thinking it could have the word dark in the title to work. So does this work for Dark & Stormy Night?

These stamps aren't as exciting for me yet. I'm still wrapping my head around new win patterns. With the old 5-in-a-row-any-direction patterns a stamp gave you chance to win in several ways. Now, other than free space, it's one chance only. It was more exciting when getting a stamp meant more chances to win. For example if you got second column second row stamped you got a chance to win in three different directions ...
