I think that the Germans were not alone in "the ends justify the means" in WWII - maybe the biggie was Hiroshima and Nagasaki to avoid an actual invasion of Japan. (I think that based on what he knew Truman was correct in his decision as a note.)


Bryan Craig Indeed, Vince, I noticed that too, that many French soldiers were from the colonies. This changes the perspective perhaps. They simply follow orders and not have the history and cultural "baggage" from Europe??
