how many Books have you read that you own ?

I have 106 books out all of them I have only read 34 of them 7 of them I read half way and then stopped because they did not interest me any more .

We own some 5000 physical books and I own another 3300+ kindle books.

Of the physical books I've read maybe 1000. I've DNF maybe 5-10. My husband has read all but 100 of the books many if them more than once.

Of the kindle books I've read about 500. I've DNF 20?

I own approximately 80 books out of them I have read 40 books so far! Others are still to be read.
I own 500+ ebooks on my PC out which I have read almost more than 200!!

I have about 900 on my ereader and have read all of them. And I have about 200 on my tbr list that I plan on getting to. Since I got my e-reader I am a downloading fool! They should really open a support group for someone like me!

I own a lot of books, but I haven't read them all and I keep buying more books so my TBR keeps GROWING!! :)

I've read half of what I own. Developed this habit of buying books and just leaving them there, like eventually I'll get to them just not now.

So no new books for me until i catch up on most of them.

I've traded a lot of books over the years that I've read. I went on a buying spree the last 2 years. So now I have like 1400 unread books, and I have a little over 100 ebooks.

Helps prevent reading ruts though :)

At present, I have 4,123 paper books (completely catalogued) but my library of an additional nearly 4,000 more was destroyed in a house fire eight years ago. Of those I had read every one and of present about 3,700.

The problem lies in what is described as read? As I do a lot of historical research some of the books have had only one or two chapters read out of them as they were all that I required of that book, e.g. specific history of a military regiment from a "Complete History of the ? Army"

I have 1,147 Kindle, Kobo, Project Guggenheim etc. titles (the vast majority free) in my tablet and in the PC but of those, IIRC, I've read only 322.
