Yes, I do and NIGHTFALL is particularly awful!

I'm now reading

Shomeret

Started reading the second book in the Amber series, Guns of Avalon** by Roger Zelazny - no UF, but.... well, it kinda started out that way.

**

Now about to start March by Geraldine Brooks about the Dad from Little Women. I think it's historical fiction...

I am saving my mercy books for the book challange lol
and im reading

Kayzee, you might find this list helpful, and I bet there are others like it on listopia:
Best Read-Aloud Chapter Books

I love the Morganville Vampires series. Good to see you gave it a shot!

I am trying not to jump the gun for the april challange hahaha so hard I want to know what happens to mercy now!!

Yep, I enjoyed it enough, that I will more than likely read the rest of the books in the series.

Reading

I did not expect to like Morganville Vamp series as much as I do.
Just finished

Also read

Now I am reading

And I'm starting And Then He Kissed Her by Laura Lee Guhrke (historical romance) today for a group read in one of my other groups.

I loved Jessica's Guide when I read it last year. Lucius is a very commanding character.

I really like her writing style and I am looking forward to the next book, sucks the third one got such bad reviews

I love Kitty!

Dawn its not too bad but Poison study was well balanced, magic study was a bit slow and fire study is just full on with not one mintues peace to think lol

I liked her too, but some of the side characters seemed kinda flat - in particular Cormac. He was supposed to be a major kick-butt werewolf hunter, but I never really got any badass vibes from him. I think Carrie Vaughn could have put more into him and some of the others. Just my two cents.

@Lisa: Cormac agreed yes he is an odd egg, he feels more like a tortured soul and a jerk than a kick a$$ wolf hunter. Then again I was actually happy to see her and Ben, I also like Rick.

I am now officially beginning the first book of the challenge though, Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Zafon. Well I'll probably start it sometime later today as I've already stayed up to late reading. 3:30AM isn't the time of the day to be going to sleep, but when a novel hooks you.... it's hard to get away. :D

I've read at least 2 of the Connor Grey books and they just have not grabbed me. But then books that deal primarily with the fae, and their politics, just don't seem to hold my interest. Glad you like them!

This is one of my favorite Harry Dresden books!

Red Prophet: The Tales of Alvin Maker Volume 1 and The Gunslinger
Now I'm readingNaamah's Kiss which I predict, based on the Kushiel series, I will love.

Julia,
Have you read the Dark Tower series? Just curious because I think the graphic novels are probably more of a companion set. I imagine they would be hard to follow for people not already familiar with the story - but, eh, I could be wrong.

Yeah, i am so glad to hear that I am waiting for it from the library. I loved the first one.
