So I'm not sure if there will be much participation in this read. Mpauli still hasn't read The Lies of Locke Lamora (though he is reading it now).

Hanne and Lee didn't participate much past the first few sections for the first book. I know Lee is on vacation this month and Hanne didn't seem to much care for it.

Either way, I've posted discussion threads and I'll make comments as I go, even if they are to no one.

Hopefully we'll have a bigger crowd for The Republic of Thieves next month at least.

i didn't participate much last time because i was on holiday for the last half of the book in a place without too much internet.
but holiday is over :( so plenty of internet available now :)

I'm stuck on Red Seas... plus I have 150 or so pages left in Assassin's Quest (boy is this book frustrating).

And I only ever see you complaining about the Farseer books, I don't get why keep reading the next book..lol.

I read 25% of it.

Well I'm on the last one so I can't quit. I go back and forth. I love Hobb's style but the plot annoys me frequently and poor Fitz gets shat on a lot.

I gave the first five stars, which I try not to do lightly. I doubt this will be as good. That doesn't mean I won't enjoy it though.

I got stuck about a third of the way through the first time I started reading it - but tried again and happy I did, the second half was better, I thought.
