Thanks Cathie. I read Watership Down when I was in school (so a very long while ago!) but I don't remember anything about it so I am looking forward to reading it again.

First book finished. Affinity is the fourth Sarah Waters book I have read and they were all great. Tipping the Velvet is still my favourite though.

I did! It started off quite slowly but ended up with a gun battle by Loch Lomond. It definitely wasn't dull.

Finished Cloud Atlas, really enjoyed it.

It is six separate but connected stories, they are quite different to each other but all are good. Would definitely recommend it.

Finished The Damned United. A slightly strange book. It was OK but not something I would recommend to anyone unless they were especially interested in the subject.

Read The Eyre Affair, really good. It reminded me a little of the series and Doctor Who.

Claire, Rivers of London looks really interesting, I added it to my TBR :)

Finished The Founding. I think I have read it before there were little bits that I recognised, my Mum loved this series so I probably borrowed it off her. Interesting story it covered a period of about 50 years and there were lots of marriages and everyone having lots of babies and I did get a bit confused about who was who. I would like to read the rest of the series there are 35 so far!

Finished another two. The Green Mile was good and quite sad at the end. I didn't really enjoy High Rise only 173 pages but still felt too long.

Only 2 days from original end date and I'm not even halfway! So I'll give myself another year.
