Dustin (tillos) | 365 comments I spoke of starting a sequel pick a few weeks ago and now I hoping to honor that decision.

For the month of October I plan on doing a The Republic of Thieves discussion. So if you want to be included make sure to get your preorders in before October 8th or reserve it at the library. If you haven't read Red Seas Under Red Skies and want to participate, do so as soon as possible.

The discussions will take place in the old Locke Lamora section with a {ROT Spoiler} tag.

Haha, I see. Thanks for the correction.

For what it's worth, several of us will be discussing it over at the Not A Book Club Club with it's own dedicated section and multiple threads, but if people are discussing it here as well, I'll probably jump in.

Oh and we'll be discussing Red Seas Under Red Skies starting around 9/15.

Headhunter!

Anyway, that is quite a line up. Lamora, Steelheart, Lamora. I might have to pop by for those but I'd also like to do it here, if not only to spite Veronica for not reading Red Seas yet.

Well it's been planned for a few months. But it won't hurt my feelings if people don't want to join a whole other group.

Kdawg91 | 377 comments this totally sounds like a plan

Sean | 367 comments Oh, I am so in for ROT.

Warren | 1556 comments Since the description doesn't include the phrase "coming of age" or "dystopian" I'll give it a shot. I enjoyed the first book.

Paulo Limp (paulolimp) | 164 comments Great idea! I'm in. Will there be an audiobook version?

message 11: by Dustin (new)

Dustin (tillos) | 365 comments There is a pre-release post in the Locke Lamora forum to get things going.

Yep. They're already showing audible and cd versions.
Nothing about 8-track tapes.

Kristina | 588 comments Put a hold on it at the library-if they get it in, I'll join in!

Warren | 1556 comments Enjoyable story. I do think it could have been tighter.
He could have cut 2-3 chapter and you wouldn't miss much.

Kristina | 588 comments Is this being discussed somewhere? Anyone got a link?
I just finished and loved it!

There was also a discussion of discussing it in the old Locke Lamora section but nothing seems to have come of it.

Yeah a few of us were discussing it when it came out. It's mostly died down though. There may be some additional traffic with the audio book finally out though.

At a minimum I get email notifications for all the threads and will likely respond to stuff.
