Yeah, especially in mystery's. Blame Someone Else is pretty easy too since the guilty rarely admit it. Still, they were some of the more interesting wacky holiday's to choose from. And not all holidays can easily correspond with a reading challenge.
Oh I know :) I've looked at some of those holidays and laughed, but they would be really hard to turn into a reading challenge!

Oh, sure...throw that one in after I've already read Life of Pi. Would have had that high seas option easy-peasy! I don't know that I have anything else that will fit. :-\

In looking at the books I've already read this month, and the books I 'need' to read for other challenges, I've decided to pass on this one. I would only be able to complete three of the tasks, and I could fill in those three with books I've already finished in September. It seems silly to sign up, fill in tasks already finished and finish on the same day :) I'll watch for next month's challenge though!

which is about a murder at a Talk Like a Pirate Day function. I believe I got it free for my Kindle last year. It was pretty good, but it is the fourth in the series and they kept referring to things that had happened previously. Arrrgh!
