What is your suggestion for our 22nd Group Read (October 2013)

I'd list this as one of the top ten graphic novels ever written. I argue it's the superior book to Asterios Polyp. A tense and surreal urban mystery, rather than spin your head with cheap plot twists, it reveals layers about its world and characters. It's as pure a comics experience as you're likely to get.
Planning a feature article on this one.

The Gigantic Beard That Was Evil by Stephen Collins was also excellent and worth discussing.

If its only one suggestion then Hicksville gets my vote. There is so much in it to talk about.

Hi Vivekanand. The book you suggested was our group book discussion for June 2012. Please suggest another book. Thanks.

Animal Man Vol 1. Grant Morrison.

I think Akira would be a good seinen comic candidate."
I haven't read Akira yet, although I've seen the movie.

If it counts as two selections then Boxers since it seems like it might be meant to be read first.

Might be worth suggesting the second volume though?
