He looked over at Chris, placing a hand on his knee. "Wow man, you should slow down." He said to Jon as he took a sip from his own milk. "Want more?" He asked.

"Thanks for washing the dishes Viv," he said giving her a grateful smile, which soon fell. "Sorry guys but I've gutta get to work, already late. Don't burn the house down." He said, gabbing his keys before quickly escaping the house.
He watched him raising his eyebrows questioningly, sighing softly as he started up his truck. Of course it was true he didn't have work- he just had to meet up with his lawyer today, and judging by the time he only had five minutes to get there before it was actually considered late.

Once he was there he had to be about teeny minutes late and the guy at the front desk said his lawyer was in the middle of another meeting- but would be done soon. He sighed heavily, pulling out his phone and texting absentmindedly waiting patiently for them to be done.

After talking with his lawyer; and spending time at his friends house, completely pissed, he finally returned back home.

He returned to his own room, sitting down in his bed, and rolling his shoulders- before closing his eyes trying to think.

He leaned farther into his bed- wishing Jon and his wife wasn't here so he could spend time with Chris. After a while he closed his laptop going back downstairs- still slightly bothered from what his lawyer told him as he sat down on the couch.

He shrugged his shoulders, grabbing a two beers and handing one to his friend. "She left." He said simply; only slightly bothered by the fact- but not as much as he had been.
"He's not too bad, you know how boys are," he said with a knowing smile as to their high school and college years.

"Yup," Avery said, walking up towards the guest room. He knocked, before entering, smiling down at the boy- immediately able to tell he wasn't really sleeping. "Lunch's ready." He told him.

He sighed heavily, "fine, but if your mother's the next one up here don't come complaining to me." Avery said, closing his door before going back downstairs.
He sat down across from the two. "I think he's too tired." He said in reply to their questioning looks as he shrugged his shoulders.

Avery nodded his head in reply. "Sounds like it could be fun." He said, looking over at Chris for a second. "Right after lunch?"

Hr chuckled softly at his mother's concern. "Oh trust me i've been feeding him plenty." He said, finishing up his food and leaning back in his chair.
